Just got my CET invite for their March Madness party. How many VMBer are going to be in Vegas for first / second round March 16th thru 20th?
Anyone going to casino parties? Anyone wanting to have a meetup at a one of sportsbooks / bars?

    Heyyyy yo!

I'll be arriving the night of the 16th and leaving the afternoon of the 22nd

My first MM so I'm still researching venues and figuring out how I want to do this. I think I want to have a place to sit and chill for the first two days and then I'll float around more on the final two days

I just checked and I have the March Madness offers again this year. I had them last year and didn't even end up going to any of the parties. I will be there 3/17-3/21 as of right now. I'm in for a meet though! Should be me and 6-8 of my buddies.

Reporting for duty. First timer for March Madness. Will be rolling with 5-6 friends from college (we're all in our late 20s now).

Staying at MGM, but looking for MM parties. Host has been unhelpful, so striking it out on my own.

We'll be there March 15-21st. Our group is two couples (our friends are mid-20s, we are mid-50s). We spend about 12 hours on Thurs and Fri (less time on Sat and Sun) in the MB Sportsbook. (We are staying at Delano). On Sat or Sun we may spend time at the pool since there are fewer games.
It's always nice to meet other VMBers

Coming in with a group of 5-7 on the 15th. I leave the 22nd but some guys will be peeling off starting Sunday. I'd be down to meet up with some VMB'ers if there was a meet Saturday or Sunday. Too much basketball for me to able to make it Thursday or Friday. This is our 8th year in a row.

I am going to be there Thursday/Friday of the second week of the tourney. Is there much going on those days or not really since there are not many games by that point?

Also going 2nd week of tourney. Still gives you a few games to bet on.

I see Blondie's is pretty much reserved already as is Lagasse's

In looking at last year's info online it looks like Bourbon Room at V/P (where I will be staying) has a watch deal.

Since I am not sure of how many of my friends will be making it out it could be a solo trip or a couple sessions of the four days where I am solo. BR is close to the book in the Venetian so I can run over and make some bets as needed.

That was one drawback of Blondie's...quick betting.

I am also thinking about hitting up Westgate's theater party since it should be pretty raucous and have betting stations.

I will be at MGM Grand with another couple. Host has offered to comp us to the MGM party or give us seats in the skybox. I am leaning toward the skybox, but we shall see

Received the MM offer but the exact dates didn't fit.
Will be there the 19th weekend, but really not planning any dedicated b-ball time.
Now if I can find some action like a table game or slots near a tv I will catch a game.
For the first round you are just hoping the teams you picked to make it deep into the bracket don't get upset.

Which party are you going to? I'm doing the Brooklyn Bowl. Have done Harrahs (2013). Flamingo (2014) and Planet Hollywood last year! Figured Brooklyn Bowl should be different than the others!

    see countdown below!! :peace:

Harrahs was the very first CET March Madness party that I ever did, courtesy of a friend from Arizona named Lisa. Harrah's set up was similar to Flamingo. Banquet room with tables and chairs. 2(or maybe 3) bars scattered around the room and buffet set up ( I think 2 tables). Flat-screens surrounded the room (Placed up high.)! It was 4 years ago, but I don't remember a bad seat anywhere! Ive heard people complain about the booze, however I don't drink so I cant speak to the brands available. I know that their diet coke, Black coffee and bottled water were pretty good! Breakfast stuff early in the day (Bagels, Breakfast pizza, donuts etc.) Booze around the clock. Finger foods later on like wings, Hot dogs, Pizza, burgers, quesadillas (sic). etc. Menu varied day to day!! Good times for sure!!!!

I will be at the flamingo party with some friends. Might have extra tickets if anyone is interested.

To anyone that has done flamingo hoops before, do you know how the "wristband distribution" works? I'm a little concerned I won't be up at the crack of dawn to pick them up. Can you get them the night before? Also, when they are distributed, is it for all 4 days or are the different bands for each day?
