    My Trip Report

    Heyyyyy VMB'ers!

In 2015 I created the thread Dutchies going to vegas 23/03 - 07/04 (many photos + videos) where you can read all the cool things we did in Vegas back in march (including some nice pics and vids). Now in 2016 we will be there AGAIN and I can't wait!

Booked my 3rd trip with a friend to Vegas a couple months ago and I will be there from 9 - 19 march and will be going with a big group of Dutchies, same as last year.

I payed €412 ($450) for my flight from Amsterdam to Las Vegas and a layover in London, flying with British Airways.

Wednesday 9 march - Friday 11 march: 2 nights at MGM Grand

Got 2 nights comped through myVegas, still need to pay 2x $33 resortfee, but okay.

    Friday 11 march - Sunday 13 march: 2 nights at The D

Staying here for $220 including fee and it will be my first downtown stay. Always love the atmosphere there and love to play cheap $5 Pai Gow at the D with these nice girls or $5 BJ at the Golden Gate! Maybe gonna play some poker as well at Binions/Golden Nugget.

Sunday 13 march - Tuesday 15 march: 2 nights at Excalibur

Got this comped through Mlife, just need to pay 2x $29 resortfee and it's not the most luxury place on earth as we all know, but I'm fine with it. Will be playing some spew 2-6 spread limit so that should be fun.

Tuesday 15 march - Saturday 19 march: 4 nights at Excalibur

No comps for these days, pay €475 ($520) for 4 nights including fee, lolz. The last 2 nights are very expensive due St. Patricksday.

In the end I will be paying $880 everything included so I am very happy with that.

Last year we did a off strip casino tour and visited Poker Palace, Jerry's Nugget, etc as you can see in the video above. This year we will be doing this again. Wake up early, drive to the Hooverdam first (never seen it lol) then slowly go back to Vegas. We are planning to stay at each casino for maximum 10 minutes. Ofcourse I will take my camera with me so you can expect some nice vids/photos again :D

    Route:

    1. Excalibur Hotel and Casino, 3850 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89109, Verenigde Staten

    2. Hoover Dam,

    3. Hoover Dam Lodge

The route you see on the pictures is not 100% correct but it gives you a little view of the tour.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

We also going to drive to the Valley of Fire on another day and enjoy the beautiful view. If there is enough time we will visit the Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza Casino (has anyone heard of it? LOL) and maybe we drive up to Mesquite and visit a couple casino's there as well. And if this is not enough we also might go together with some other Dutchies who are gonna visit Laughlin and visit casino's overthere.

Further more we will be doing a Helicopter Strip Tour at night and maybe the Zoomline Downtown. I want to meet Youtube Vegas-vlogger @TheTrooper97 again (if that's ok with him, lol :p) and I want to meet the famous cabbie Periscoper @StripCab for the first time and take him on a meal at In n Out Burger.

I can't wait to be honest!

Here a cool vid from the Vegas strip I made last year (plz change settings to 4k for the best quality! :D):

    Cheers! :D

Great price on flights. Seems weird that we pay more getting on in London than you do paying for two extra flights. Anyway looks like we're on the same flight if you're going from Heathrow. Happy Days.

Yep, same one. How long is your layover? I will let you know our seat numbers when we've checked in day before and come and have a chat. Please don't tell me that price is Business or Traveller Plus or I'm not going to be happy, lol. We will be in No 1 airport lounge before the flight.

Enjoy your trip guys! So great that you'll get to meet another VMBer in the flight!

You did get an amazing deal, I'm looking at around €450 with a stop in London for my June trip (flying from Dublin)

Thanks @Simpatt! :D €450 is a good price as well, but not sure if you can book one in June. That season is more expensive, that's why we go in March heheheheh. :D

I thought the Wildfire casinos were just bars with a few VP machines.

    I would add:

    M Resort
    South Point
    Silverton

if you haven't been to them

I haven't checked in. For me that's 24 hours too. Just prebooked a paid for seat. There was also an offer to upgrade to World Traveller Plus for £180 but I prefer the exit row for £58. Go to manage my booking, you may have an offer there and if the other exit seats are still there on the right hand side row 28 they are worth every penny of that £58. Not so sure about the Middle exit seats, you may get a baby there, not a good plan if it's not yours, lol.
