What is the best way to get from Mandalay Bay to Freemont Street? There are 6 of us between 50 - 70 years of age.

Depends on your definition of "best". Do you mean fastest? Cheapest? I would probably suggest the bus. Don't think you can put six passengers in one cab and, otherwise, you are renting a van

The best way is to take a limo from the resort.

The cheapest is to take the bus.

The in between is a cab.

With that amount of people it would be very reasonable per person.

There is also UberXL which gets you a vehicle with room for 6 (usually a minivan or SUV).

    Practice, man... practice.

And wear a Spongebob Squarepants suit.

I think you should opt for a limo.

I could have also kicked in the option I used two years ago. I got a big fat cup of coffee from Citizen I believe and walked to Pizza rock for lunch. One of my best Vegas days ever!

A limo would be cheaper than 2 cabs.

Go for the limo, everyone will be able to pile in together, and the limo drivers are usually a bit smoother with their driving compared to taxis rides Ive taken. Plus you will usually get free water bottles in the limo ( not a huge deal I know ).

Each time I've been to Fremont Street Experience I've been on the south end of the strip. Each time the trip has cost me approximately $25 to $30 each way.

That sounds like a job for a party bus.

I ran from one to the other during the marathon one year. Definitely not the BEST way!

need to pick up the WAX in front of NYNY (where the cabs pull in) on Tropicana. $2 per person or seniors(or disabled by ss) over 60 is $1. Drop off downtown is 4th and Carson (1 block from FSE)

It is... We were at the Excalibur a few weeks ago and there was 6 of us. It was a Friday evening, around 5pm (rush hour) and asked the guys at the cab stand. It was going to be around $30 for a cab. We got a limo for $40, got to take our drinks, be together and have fun as it took almost 35 minutes to get there. I tried to tip the driver $20 (two 10's) and he gave one back to me.

Opt for the limo. Be a rockstar.
