Orleans 2016 ACG coupon update

Change in policy, folks - Orleans now requires a trip to the players club to redeem match play coupon. Only one per year now.
Same with Hooters, and they want to see your ACG card also.
Ellis Island was weird - match play coupon says to redeem at players club, they sent us to the tables. Blackjack pit boss had dealer write my name and player card number on coupon, craps dealers didn't bother doing that when my son used his. On another note, I got very lucky at Ellis Island. I hadn't played there in many years so I wasn't in the computer. Ended up being awarded $195 of free play in the new player's promo. Turned it into $180 cash on 8/5 JOB - that made their superb root beer taste even better!

I always worry that the people that use coupons over and over again are going to end up causing the coupons to go away. Not that I haven't been one of those people. I might be the one responsible for the Riviera closing!

 

Thanks for the update. This is definitely a positive change.

 

There are way fewer coupons available specifically for this reason. It never made sense that they would take the coupons, especially matchplays and free slot play, away when they could use the players club to police abuse.
