I'm curious about the Mansion at MGM... Do you have to be an invited guest to access the casino?

If not, where is it located within MGM?

So funny you bring this up because I JUST saw this on the YouTube video myself: CRAZY! For those who don't know there is an non-distinguishable street that runs perpendicular to NYNY meeting it at the Hershey Store but across LV Blvd. just down the street to the right is a freaking mansion where the royalty crash when they come into town. It is obviously heavily secured and slightly obscured by Walls and vegetarian. Something to investigate though!

The mansion casino is just another name for the MGM high limit room. Like any upper tier high limit room, there are some reserved tables for the biggest players, but otherwise all the tables are open to the public as long as you are willing to bet the minimum. PP is correct that the Robuchon restaurants are on one side of the HL area (the side closer to the Ka theater). If you're coming form the other direction looking for it, the HL is on your left, just past Grand Wok and Crush

The casino is what pp and UK described.
As far as the Mansion itself, you will be quite challenged to "investigate" it, even if you are a vegetarian.

All you have to do is read old natedogg666 trip reports and Shifter's. They describe the Mansion and have pictures. Not really a big secret.

The mansions are usually reserved for their big events guests, or when you climb up to Noir level your host can pull some strings to get you in there. I've been there once, it was an amazing experience. (see my avatar). Its located through the high limit casino, take it all the way back theres another door, take that all the way down the hall way. You will be greeted with the security to check you in. You will have to give them your ID and villa number. You have your own private chef, there's two huge Olympic size pools. The entire place is under a glass dome, so its great. Large community theater room, spent majority of my time there watching the games.

Huh. I never realized that high limit room was "the Mansion casino." I always thought there was another one.

I think you're conflating some things. There is a huge glass dome and theater room but you don't have a private chef unless you're talking about the chefs for the mansion dining room. Also there's only one pool and it's not Olympic sized.

However a lot of the A listers do bring their own chef who makes them their food in the full kitchen in the villa. They will call the mansion a couple weeks in advance and order the groceries they need and the dining room will get the groceries and have them waiting in the villa for the chef.
