Aria hosts - any improvements in staff quality this year?

First, to level-set: I go to Vegas several times a year. My play generates somewhere around 250k TCs daily - varies wildly depending on whether it's a guy's trip or just me and the lady, but my average trip probably earns between 500k - 1M TCs. I have earned as much as 2M TCs on a longer trip, but that is very rare. (This past weekend @ B I earned about 600k.)

I have had simply terrible experiences with Aria hosts - every one I have dealt with is completely incompetent, drops balls, very unresponsive/unprofessional, etc. etc. I even tried working through a corporate contact (I was a senior executive at a very large company and we spent a lot of money at Aria on meetings/events.) Even that proved pointless.

In a final effort, asked a veteran member here to recommend an Aria host, which he very kindly did. I sent that host a friendly, thoughtful email about my past issues, my play, and my typical asks/needs. Three paragraphs - not exactly a tome. He shot me back a curt reply that my email was too long, and he wasn't going to read it. Stunning, but par for the course @ Aria. We ended up having a decent phone call later, but I couldn't shake the initial bad feeling. (I believe he is no longer at Aria - not sure.)

So I gave up on them, which made me sad because as I said, I do love the hotel. But God knows, I tried a lot harder than they did to make it work.

I've been staying at Bellagio for the past year and a half, where I have a good host (he's green but he is very diligent and takes decent care of me.)

My issue is that Bellagio is not aging well and it's really not my style. I love the B casino (mostly because of the crews) but the rooms -- even the top rooms -- just don't compare to Aria. Maybe after everything I'm dumb to even consider it, but as I tossed and turned on an uncomfortable bed in an aging B penthouse this weekend, I couldn't help but wonder if Aria and I should try again.

So I'm asking all of you experts: have there been any improvements to the host staff over there the past year or so?

Oops..I thought you said 250 TCs. Now I see that it is 250,000 TCs. Hmmmm...

I will tell you that the hosts at MB are way more helpful than what I encountered at B or Aria... had suites there before... but...

The short answer is no. Good hosts at Aria remain few and far between

Thanks - after starting this thread, I found this recent thread which appears to confirm that there has been no improvement this year.

Have you used a host by the name of Christal Correia yet? I don't usually ask for much, but she has been very responsive when I email her.

No, I haven't. Although based on the other thread I posted a few minutes ago, I'm thinking it's best to steer clear. Maybe it's time to give MGM Grand / Skylofts a shot. I was introduced to an MGM host earlier this year and he seemed solid.

And personally, I think that is a generous description. She used to be my host there years ago and hopefully she has improved since then. But she was one of the reasons I stopped going to Aria for a year and a half

I'm using Richie Masciotti, he's been very good at getting back to me via email. he works Wed- Sun 4pm-12am. I usually have decent marketing offers as well, so most of the time its a limo or some back-end comps that he takes care of for me. I'm at about 200KTC for a 36 hr trip, so well below your play. Might want to reach out to him.

I dont play nearly as much as you. But I am a Platinum card holder and I get decent MGM comps. I like Bellagio but wanted to try Aria since I really enjoy their casino. I emailed a host cold, found them online, with my PC number and asked if they could just match an offer I have from the B. It took 4-5 days but they did reply with yes and told me to send them some dates. I did that and she never answered my email. 2 weeks go by and I email a different host and start over. I got an email from host #1 and she is pissed. She goes off on me with a bunch of "I'm confused, why would you contact me if you didnt plan on using me" lines.

I apologized and said I gave her 2 weeks to reply and I would love to start fresh. To which she never replied. I ended up staying there using the VIP hotline but my host experiance was shitty.

Yes, this is exactly the kind of s**t I was experiencing with them over and over. A remarkably unprofessional, unresponsive lot. I know I'm far from a whale but at my level I don't think it's too much to ask that my calls and emails will be immediately returned.

Hasnt failed me yet fingers x'd :rolleyes2: sorted my comped nights over the CES week for the last couple of years:thumbsup:

My play warrants a host from every MLife casino except Aria. I never get approached from anybody at Aria.

Nicole is awesome. Always does what she says and is great at responding. She has gone above and beyond my expectations several times. However, she did say that things are much more in the hands of computers and the numbers. Discretion is limited.
