    My Trip Report

Well pleasant weather again for my Nov trip. Went to many locations this trip and even though it's way off strip the Green Valley Resorts is by far one on the nicest places in Vegas. Class act all the way. Pay back was sluggish at best one night and a little above break even the next. Did witness others hitting nice jackpots. Hit many main strip places and was very surprised how slow and people absent SLS and Westgate were. OMG how do they stay in business? It was depressing. Stratosphere a little better and paybacks were pretty good . The Rio was slammed busy with the world poker finals and a huge conference. But unfortunately the slots were not offering much pay back. But the Rio is still a favorite location and rooms. Mid strip was slower than normal but still brisk. Casino Royale and Cearars were packed. The Seahorse lounge so crowded was hard to move around. Never did find that perfect slot for good pay backs this trip. I normally break even or better but tough to find that on this trip. Had the most fun at the bars at GVR and RIO. Wish I could tell you all go to this spot and play that slot because it is very loose offering big paybacks but don't have that to share. Tried the pay monorail, free monorails and free shuttles and that worked out great and saved a bundle from not using cabs. Did not go downtown but heard it was pretty crowded. Was ready to go home this trip when they stay was over. Time to regenerate and return in the future.

Both these places are trying to turn things around. SLS needs more casinos around it to open, not sure if that will be the answer or if they can hold on that long. Westgate is banking on timeshare business.

    Thanks for the TR.

I still haven't made it to SLS though I always intend to go. Just seems out of the way when there's nothing else to draw me to the area.

Yeah, probably worth the investment if you go to SLS and don't like the place at all. It's definitely slow most times of the day.

I don't mind it though. But liked it better when it had the 99.9%+ VP.

    Thanks for sharing Bigcasino!
