I have been staying at SLS and Wynn the last few trips and I can see Circus Circus from my windows sometime so I was wondering. Is it still part of MLIFE? I'm Platinum with MLIFE so do I need to get a new card at circus circus? I have not been in over 10 years, but I was thinking of stoping in there for a little. I have some friends going with kids and want to take their kids to Circus Circus.

Website says it has its own club card can someone who has gone lately let me know.

Yeah, they've kept it separate from mLife for one reason or another.

Well played! And yes it was never part of Mlife. Its actually sad. I can get cash/food/rooms all comped at Bellagio where I'm Platinum with Mlife. I swung in Circus Circus on a whim and had a blast. Tried getting a comped room to take the wife and kid on a future trip and they couldnt do anything for me but a casino rate. I told them to look at my coin-in at all of their other properties and she said they couldnt see that info. So I never went back :nono:

They do not have a high limit area, or at least one I could see. I was there in August as I had never been and wanted to see it. They had a promotion at the players club desk where you go like $100 in chips for $60. That was cool. Their craps was 2x odds at $5 min. They do have a slot carousel which was different. Place does not look as nice as James Bond makes it out to be.

Happy hour at the Steakhouse, half price giant Manhattans.

Look for a dealer named Mir who resembles Saddam Hussein, he's funny as hell. Not sure if they have a high limit room, but at the $10 tables if was 6:5. I stayed in the Casino Tower a month ago and it was totally fine, had two comp nights and paid for two nights thanks to an offer resulting from little play two years ago. Skip the buffet.

If you get buffet, ask for the green stuff. They have their own players card, but you can charge back to your mlife room from there. Slots O Fun is also owned by MGM. They are MGM's red headed step children.

Please go play $5,000 a hand mini baccarat and watch the entire hotel board shit themselves. Sorry, that should read $500 a hand.

You could have easily gotten a backend comp from them.

Wasn't it around here that someone went looking for the Sarno suite once upon a time?

I was at Excalibur about 6 or 7 years ago and bought in for 5k and even the dealer asked why I was gambling here? Reason was it was a big Banker run. After a few hands I had two Pit Managers standing behind the dealer watching every hand. I think the table limit was $2k max. I left with over $12k haven't played there since.

I was walking thru to go to Mandalay Bay. I was at MGM Grand and figure it was faster to walk.

I wouldn't want a back end comp. I don't want to pay for my room and "see what they can do for me" when I'm already a rated player in town at a sister property(s). I can check in at Aria, also owned my MGM, and get my innovative suite + $250.00 in free play, a couple of show tickets and $100 in food. All up front. Or I could HOPE that my play at CC would be good enough to find a host and back end my room back or a pit critter to toss me some buffets. I'm a bird in the hand kind of guy.
