I'm interested in this as well. I am seriously considering The D for my next trip, in December.

Her name is Tessie. I haven't been there since June this year, so not 100% she is still there. I don't know if they can help you with the match plays because what would stop someone from just saying the lost it and ended up playing with it. Freeplay could be easier since you have a pin to enter into a slot/vp.

The D is a great place to party, the rooms are clean and quiet, though a bit simple, unless you get a full suite. They are still good though, good vp and blackjack rules there to. Comps seem to be easy to come by being a downtown location to.

Thanks for the information. I haven't been there yet, but I have heard from multiple people that the music is way too loud on the casino floor. Is the music actually that loud? Or are people just complaining?

It is loud, but I wouldn't say overwhelming. I would say it depends on the person, if you like quiet, head to the el cortez.

Here's the guy that I used for my next trip. Seems kind of stand offish, but I guess we'll see how it goes.

Tess called right before this trip and said she was replacing my old host who left. As we talked, I decided to go to the D for one night as I love the Deuces Wild Table game and haven't been in awhile. So, she lined up the roome and dinner for me, she was fantastic. When she arrived, she came to the table to meet me, went and got my match play since I hadn't done it. We discussed my wife and her being at the gift shop before going to the rooms, so she ent to the gift shop to meet my wife and walk her back to the table. My wife is expecting and needed out of the smoke so they chatted all the way back to the elevator. Then she came back to the table to say good night and wish me luck.

In all the time I've had a host at Fitz or the D, she was the only one to extend that level of hospitality. I will definitely be back to the D and hopefully I played enough she can extend more comps than the standard offers.

She won't know me as SandsFan but maybe that crazy guy with the expecting young asian wife who hit a Wild Royal Flush. Good luck.

I like playing during the day when you can talk to each other but I also like when the dancers come out and you can watch them dance. They are not great but it is some entertainment.

Yes it is very loud but start early before they turn it up and you might not notice so much.

By the way if you want a really good steak dinner, try Andiamos. Service and food have been excellent the last few trips. I had the bone in rib eye and tried to eat the whole damn thing it was so good.

I might have to see if I can change to her instead. The guy I've been dealing with just doesn't seam to care at all. I know I'm not a High Roller, but I usually don't just bet the min either. Would have been nice if he gave me more then a 1 word answer to my emails.

I had Marty and she left for DTG. I really like her. I now have Miguel. His service has left something to be desired. Last trip my suite wasn't ready and it wasn't in the location I like. These things I can overlook, but he wasn't apologetic or helpful whatsoever in getting it resolved. I'm not a huge player, but at The D I think I am a bit higher than average. My last trip was $175 average at BJ for plenty of hours.

Yeah, I had Marty as well. I was sad when I saw that she left. And, that's kind of the vibe I'm getting from Pete Scarpa. Like if something goes wrong, then he'll just go "oh well". And, I'm about in your range at craps. About $100-$125/hand is what they had me rated at.

    ---Update---
Well, I just emailed her. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Do you mind if I ask what they usually do for you at that level? Wondering if I'm getting the shaft.

I've gotten 3 nights comped. $25 in food, $25 FP, and $25 match play. And, they picked up the tab for 4 of us at Dupairs, about $34-$40.But, I normally don't ask for a whole lot while I'm there. This trip the only "extra" I'm asking for is a fridge for the room. But, I have a feeling that I could probably get a corner king if I asked for it. Well, with Marty at least. Not sure about the new people.

You guys play higher Hands than I do but I guess there is a much higher house advantage on the Dueces Wild table game. Playing $25 hands I was down about 1200 before I start hitting. Lucky I came out on top this time. I usually get 4 nights, $75 free play and match play and $100 food credit.

Bro, ask for a suite. I won't even stay in their regular rooms.

Who did you email? Marty? I told her I really liked her but I just can't go to DTG.

I emailed Tessie and she emailed me back with a very nice email telling me to stop by and see her when I am there. I am not a high roller at all but do mix some slot play in with my table play and I'm guessing that they reward slot play pretty well by the offers I'm getting. Trip is Nov 7-10 so will see how it goes. I am not staying at the D, but will go down there. May have to try Andiamos.
