TAG is one of my favorite bar/lounges on the strip... I'll be taking a friend there, who likes to drink... Just not beer. Does this place comp non beer alcohol for VP players? If so, recommendations?
Yes, I went with my wife in August. They definitely comped spirits and mixers e.g. vodka From what I remember the first time we went they were hesitant about comping margaritas, but I think we were ok the second time. They also have ciders in the fridges.
That stuff is really good. The 10% ABV version on tap is even better. But vegas won't have that. Just 12 months ago this beer was only available in Chicagoland, now it's nationwide. They totally sold out. Lol
To get it here in Indy you need to know when the truck delivers it. It's gone in no time & some stores have a 12 pack limit. I make root beer ice cream floats.
We frequent TAG on our trips and never had a problem getting anything comped. We are CET Diamond and play minimum $1/VP. I have always had great service there and that I think is what keeps me coming back even though I never win there.
There is even a 20% version at the brewery. Personally not a big fan. Though I love both beer and root beer.
They brew the Not your fathers rootbeer at a brewery near where I live in Wisconsin. I've heard that they have a couple other flavors, but they can not ever get them on the line because they cant keep up with this one.
Is this still supposed to be consumed like a beer/rootbeer? 'Cos that's.. a lot of alcohol to be scarfing down!
If you drink it like root beer your night will end quickly. I've never made it up to the brewery, but assume the serve them in 5-6oz snifters. At least that is usually how other high alcohol beer is served. But even a 6 oz our would be like having 3 bud lights alcohol wise. There are a lot of bourbon barrel aged beers that check in at 15%-20% abv. They are delicious but its more like drinking a port. Nice nightcap. Pair well with cigars.
