Looks like a check-in letter, so they're even saving on the postage.

They told me literally just two weeks ago at Shark Reef that they had completely eliminated the free admission. The clerk wouldn't even look at my card, she just said it wasn't something they offered anymore, and the new policy was that we had to room charge it and then ask for it to be comped off later. Unbelievable.

I just got back from Vegas and had the same experience at the Secret Garden. Was staying At Bellagio and they aren't distributing letters yet (or I didn't get one). My host comped it off and I got the impression from the ticket agent at Secret GArden that they have had a lot of confusion with this. The ticket agent basically just said room charge it and talk to your host at the hotel.

The tiger cubs are adorable! I would check with your hotel regarding the "experience letter" or you will most likely have same situation at these attractions.

my feeling is that they have too many people with high status not from gaming and this is both a cost cutting measure
and a way to "take an eraser to the chalkboard" so to speak and focus on Slot players and High Roller Table players with hosts only

Those are all "experiences" that existed before now, less the Titanic at Luxor, so why even spend the postage in the first place is my question.

Well, it does say to present the letter when attempting to use these perks, so just wondering if this is a quick and easy way to verify that you are indeed a platinum player that they want to have these perks. Maybe they are cracking down on the perks being available to those who earned platinum with their play.

As I suspected, most people probably didn't know of those perks so.. they giving what we had as compensation for what they took away.. lovely.. that is really kind of shady.. :Þ

I don't think there is postage. These are presented to you when you check in. Probably another thing they are trying to accomplish, making sure you can only use these perks if you are staying at an M Life property.

I was staying at the Bellagio about a month ago. Got the same letter. I go on down to see the cubs and they sais if you dont have the letter they can't get me in for free but they will make an exception this time. The cubs were amazing. First time in there and would go again. If its free.

Long story short. Take your letter if you want it for free.

why present the "letter" vs, your players card. And 12 year old can duplicate this "letter".

Maybe it is some brainiac's way of not giving out so many perks, figuring the guest will forget the letter, so no freebie.

So, what then happens? Guest tells mlife to fuck off and still does not pay. And stops donating money in the casino.

How does that work "Mr. MBA?"

they might THINK they are cutting cost... and they probably are.

    But, at what expense?

Reminds me of the cartoon back when GM was in big trouble. All the execs are sitting around the boardroom table. Guy in back comes up with an idea to same mega-millions in expense. " If we close all the plants, we can save our way out of this crisis". True, but then what?
