For an upcoming trip I am showing comped rooms pretty much across the board for CET properties (with the exception of Caesars and Cromwell). The past few trips we've stayed a Harrahs, The Linq and Caesars.

I'm interested in Bally's and Paris for this trip.I'm debating between a Jubliee King and a Red Room King. Looks like the Jubliee Room is larger and Ballys is slightly closer to The Linq where we like to play craps. Overall just looking for a comfortable room to sleep a few hours a night.

    Your thoughts?

The Red Room King at Paris is a bit small...smaller than the regular blue rooms. I try to get a 'P' room at Paris which is about a third larger. It's a 'P' room, not a 'P' suite, so it's within reach of regular quarter players that are just diamond/platinum such as me. As for Bally's, I haven't stayed there in years as I like French culture too much to move next door. :) My favorite CET property on the Strip is Harrah's because it's so easy-in/easy-out with my car, the people are just sooo nice, and after staying there so much the place is like 'home' to me in LV. My second choice is Paris...love those St Louis Crepes!

We enjoy the casino size and vibe as well as the staff at Paris. It also offers a great assortment of restaurants and bars and they have been remodeling their rooms over the past year or so.

I am a craps player as well and I always seem to do better on the tables at Paris and Cromwell than I have at Bally's so as a result I spend very little time at Bally's. I do enjoy playing craps at LINQ and their iPad drink service works very well.

Wife and I stayed in a Jubilee King last year, we liked it! We got it on floor 71 (21st really) overlooking Cromwell.

I agree with Tim, the Jubilee rooms are really nice as i stayed there in June. But i spend most of my gambling time at Paris. What i would do is book a Jubilee room at Bally's and since it's connected to Paris you don't even have to walk outside if you want to hit some of the fine restaurants at Paris.
The location of PHO up to Harrah's is the best on the Strip.

I'd go with getting the best room between the two rather than worrying about location. They're both so conveniently located and connected that distance from The Strip offerings aren't a problem.

The Jubilee room is the nicest room this side of Augustus Tower CP that I have slept in. I stay at Bally's and eat a lot of meals at Paris. Its such a short walk from the South tower (Jubilee) that it matters very little as far as the walk goes.

To me it would come down to price. The Jubilee rooms are decent size, fridge, coffee maker, walk in shower and view of either the Eiffel Tower or Cromwell/CP. DW and I agree that they are some of the best mid range rooms on the strip. I personally don't like the vibe on the floor, so I walked over to Paris.

Thanks for the good information. We're staying at Bally's for the first time in February. We usually stay at Harrahs but no comps available this trip.

Do the Red Rooms get any of the club noise?

We were just there a couple of weeks ago, had a strip view blue room on the 24 floor............they warned us about the noise from the club, but it was minimal, a light conversation would drown it out.....but we were there midweek, so it was only the one night, I suppose weekends could be louder

We've stayed at Bally's in a Jubilee room several times. We really like them but do not like Bally's casino. Its entirely too smoky. We go to Paris to gamble.

I personally prefer the Paris casino because it doesn't feel so crowded. The property in general is nicer, easier to get out of etc. Getting out of Bally's drives me nuts. I have gotten to the point where I go out the valet and run across the street to Cromwell.

I guess it depends what you are looking for ? Paris to me has the older crowd feel.... Ballys usually has lower mins.... Ballys you get more comp bang for your buck... They are a 5 minute walk if that away from each other....

Dredging up my old thread to ask another question:

It looks like the easiest way to access valet parking at Bally's from I-15 is to exit Flamingo, cross over Las Vegas Boulevard and take the first right onto the driveway that looks like it leads to the center of the two towers?

If I remember correctly, if I end up driving under the monorail track by Discount Liquors I've gone too far?

That's right. Mrs. LV and I stayed there over Halloween weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the Jubilee King room. It was our first stay at a CET property. We were on the 61st floor...not actually that high...overlooking the Eiffel Tower and B fountains. Nice experience, but did not enjoy the casino. Losing has that effect. The new 24 hr Starbucks in the Bazaar is great. We would stay there again.

    EGGZACKLEE.

The casino and vibe downstairs is irrelevant. Pick the better room (Jubilee imo) and walk next door.
We ate at Paris a few times and never at Bally's besides getting some Johnny Rockets from the mall to eat upstairs (used Groupon).

I like Ballys better as well because it's closer also to the Linq (to the north) and Ellis Island (behind it) yet I still can run through Paris to go south or hit the escalator up to run through the Grand Bazaar.
