I like to keep my anonymity so I don't say exactly but I've worked all over the country including Vegas Strip, South, Midwest, etc.

Why does Atlantic City comp may more than Vegas? Let me provide more details:
I exclusively play craps - $10 minimum table, buy in for $500. In AC, I always get comped a meal, this and that.
    In Vegas, almost nothing.

I'm speaking in generalities, of course, but you're more of a commodity in Vegas.

Hi casinoboss, at some casinos, quite a lot anymore, the craps tables do not have dedicated boxmen watching the games, so how do they rate your play accurately? Do they look at your initial bet layout then when you close out factor that by time, or do they ask the dealers what your avg bet spread was?

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.

    Thanks!

Just like the other games, they make observations when they pass by and ask the dealers.

Do you play any games now? And if so, what is your game of choice?

Yeah, definitely. I play video poker and blackjack and sprinkle in some dice and baccarat every now and then.

What do you think will be the impact of the upcoming change @ Mlife on 12/15 when they will stop giving thier players ECs for playing their table games?

Thanks. I usually don't gamble much at Mlife as CET treats me better so I must have just not noticed it.

Well, obviously, there will be a lot of consternation since no one (especially casino customers) like anything being taken away. But, in the long run, it really depends on whether or not the competition views this as an opportunity to steal players or a cost cutting measure (they're not doing it anymore so neither do we).

Glad to have you back! I enjoy reading your responses and getting realistic/honest responses. I don't know why but when I hear the term "Casino Boss" I picture you at the Stardust where I learned how to play craps in a 2:00 pm lesson many many years ago.

What are your thoughts regarding the virtual blackjack, roulette, etc. games and future growth. What does your data show regarding acceptance? How does their cost compare with a regular table with a dealer?

Do you think that in 5-10 years 3:2 blackjack will be only be a memory?

Also to piggy back off this, I have seen the virtual BJ on the strip at least being 6/5. A director of slots at a Midwest casino told me that he believes it was set low because it affects the slot percentage as a hold, and the hold on electronic BJ is more of a table game hold then a slot hold, but affects his numbers. (His are 3/2 btw) Do you believe this is the motivation for this?

My theory is you have to pay no one to manage the table, it eliminates counting, why not make it 3/2 for the lower limit players? Or are people just too stupid to care? (this is my belief)

Either way I am glad you are back. You answers and the questions are very educational. Thank you for doing this.
