Has anyone else noticed the posting on the Mlife website with the changes starting 12/15/15? No more express comps on table games!

At $25-50 a hand blackjack they give hardly anything in ECs anyway. If you are playing enough for a host you probably don't need ECs to get comps. If you are somewhere in between there it might hurt a little.

This is disappointing but not unexpected. Seems table games are losing their luster for the casinos; not enough profit compared to slots.

I guess I should use my express comps and point play on my upcoming trip since I'm back to sapphire and don't plan on trying to get to any higher level and don't always visit an mlife property every 6 months

"Sapphire members will now maintain their points and Express Comps if they have activity within the prior six (6) months. If you are a Sapphire Member and have not had activity since June 15, 2015, visit and earn before December 15, 2015 to keep your account active and avoid expiration."

I would say they're making Platinum even more worthless than it already is, but it's pretty worthless to begin with. (Cutting cab lines is still clutch, but now that Uber is in town, it's less of a perk.)

That is all pretty disappointing, thanks for posting the link UK. The cut in benefits as well as the loss of ECs really is a bummer. I might have to drop down a property to get taken care of. I am almost exclusively a table player accumulating between 40,000 and 70,000 TCs per 3 - 4 day trip. I have bumped my play up to 150 per roll on the craps table, but that isn't enough to get a hosts attention at Aria, my preferred hotel.

Basically cut everyone's benefit, including Noir's.
But there is a positive move: "We will no longer offer “Turndown Service” for Platinum Members."

I never want to be turned down.

    It's a shame they call " flat-rate member pricing" a new benefit.
That just means everyone with a Milfe card, which is free and means absolutely nothing, get the same price. shame.

    Dear Mlife? KMA!
I so hope that Cosmo doesn't flip to Mlife as planned
do I still need to show my players card for my host to track my play at the tables?
because I have a pair of shears ready to cut up my card right now

To be fair, doesn't Cosmo already not count table games for Identity points?

yeah but your tier status gets you 1 or more free rooms per year w/o bothering my host
Mlife don't play that...at least EC gets me food and booze when I'm not playing in HL and don't want "the cheap stuff"

And what in the heck is the Platinum Experience?? It's described as a new benefit that includes a welcome letter and a "unique MGM resorts experience". It will be interesting to see just what that experience turns out to be!

don't think the Platinum Experience is anything valuable.
The change is entirely for cost cutting, or the so-called PGP.
When they are cutting the benefits of Noir, can't imagine they give anything extra good to Platinum.

Who wants a welcome letter at check in anyhow?

I see nothing but penny pinching and poorer customer experience in these changes.

Wow, this is disappointing. I have a trip to Aria in a few weeks. I was thinking of trying a property other than Aria to get on the radar of the competition (not CET or MGM props). I like Aria so much I couldn't bring myself to do so and just confirmed with my host. But this really makes me want to try Venetian or Wynn. I have a lot of ECs that I like to use from time to time when I am not gambling. I have left a lot of discretionary comps on the table over the years and not really cared too much because I don't spend a lot most trips. But I was just getting ready to start using the spa and other items that I probably wouldn't get backend comped. This is definitely a move to make sure they aren't handing out freebies to anyone who isn't gambling. I will really hate to see my ECs evaporate.

This definitely is a pgp move. Will save on house keeping and who knows what else. Sucks for my friends on here who are only table players about the express comps
