Trying to squeeze in one more trip before Christmas, unable to get a room at MSS online or through the reservation phone line. Now I'm trying to decide if we should try the Plaza, or Sam's Town, or just drive to Florida instead.

The Plaza and Sam's Town would be new for us. We left the strip after our 2013 trip and have been staying at MSS.

I put my new VMB wristbands in my Vegas man-bag this afternoon.

    Kinda bummed.

The Cal is also unavailable during that time. Fremont has nov 11 and 12 available but not the 13. Not sure, guess Boyd may be having something for them to be unavailable. The week before is also busy because the University of Hawaii is playing UNLV that weekend.

The Plaza is a decent place to stay if you want to stay downtown. Rooms are okay although I would rather play at MSS or the Cal. Sam's town is also okay but is a little away from it all. Other places when I ran a Kayak search was the Oasis at the Spike and El Cortez. Not sure how the Spike is.

I "believe" it's when the Rock 'n Roll Marathon is going on, so things may be either sold out or higher priced during that time. It's starts the 12th thru 15th, just checked.

    Ty,
Hit up sams town..give Henry Forte a call; he can't see your play from downtown, but if you let him know how much you play, he can probably comp some stuff off the backend.

    We're booked for MSS on the 10th & 11th. Then The D for the 12th & 13 th.
MSS have a video poker tournament going on.
When we booked a few weeks ago, online was full, but we called and they still had rooms.
