This November will be our first time staying at Cromwell. I'm traveling with family and we have multiple rooms. One family member only has a debit card and the other one only has cash. Is a credit card required at check-in for incidentals or can it also be cash or debit card? Past years we've been able to decline if we didn't want any charging privileges to our room. Using my credit card for all 3 rooms isn't an option.

Also, is there a Diamond check-in?

Anyone making a trip for any type of vacation like this should have a CC with a large enough line to cover holds no?

Don't understand why you can't pay for your family's rooms. They are YOUR family, right?

Not everyone that goes on vacation has a credit card. Some people will save for months and months to go on vacation. I don't judge those who do this. I think it's important to get out and experience life and have fun while you can. I am no better than my family members just because I have a cc and they don't.

You're right. I'll also share all my winnings with them and pay all their meals as well.

Don't believe there is a Diamond checkin, but we had zero problem at regular counter and the girl was super-friendly and helpful. Don't forget, there's only something like 180 rooms in this boutique hotel. Don't sweat check-in.
