No, and dont plan it either lol. Its only my second year in the contest. Very tough. But it does help me as a capping tool towards being selective in my other plays.

But hey, someone has to win right?

You should listen to the Chad Millman behind the bets podcast on the Super Contest, it's him and Westgate book manager. Also they have good betting info on this podcast.

If it makes you feel any better I've got money on Texans as a pick em and got the Titans +3, so you being opposite on those should make you a winner.

Also I agree with you on Ravens pick, sorry. I don't have money on Ravens but thinking about under, I have no faith in Manning anymore.

 

How does the proxy work?

Yes he seems pretty cool in the podcast they did on the Super Contest. They also have Bob Succi as a regular on there. He's the Sportsbook manager for the Orleans and basically in charge of all the Coast/Boyd books. He started at the Stardust, been around forever and was heavily featured in an awesome book about vegas sports gambling The Odds by Millman who does the podcast.

In addition, the SuperContest will be posting the selections of all contestants and the consensus (# of times each team is selected) on Saturday a few hours after the submission deadline has passed. They should be available in the vicinity of 3 to 4 PM Pacific time on Saturdays.

A buddy of mine joined up last week. He's using a proxy. Too rich for my blood. Last year 60-24-1 won. That's damn good.

 

Trust me, that is a hell of a record. CH ballers (last years winners) actually also went tout.

I just found their site. $800 for a season worth of picks, or a week's worth for the low low price of $40. More power to them, I guess.

 

We can get chs picks for free through the contest. Save the 800.
