Will be spending a few nights in San Juan in early November and wondered what rules the casinos along the Isla Verde Avenue offer on Craps and Blackjack. Hopefully they are better than the Vegas Strip casinos.

I have no idea about San Juan.

but I will say that there is almost nowhere in the world with better rules than Vegas.

    the reason is competition.

all the little local places are the only game in town (or one of very few) so they can and do gouge you.

For blackjack, the rules are worse for high limit. I guess decent for the low rollers. Didn't see any 6:5 BJ...

They will sweat someone playing $200 per hand. I saw posted max limits as low as $300. This was at several casinos along the street. Don't know if it has changed since four years ago.

It's mostly for the tourists who will play casually rather than for serious gamblers. Mostly saw $5 to $50 bets on general.

If I remember correctly, it was dealt the European way also with the dealer taking their second card after everyone made their decisions on their hand.

Good to hear BJ is 3/2. Sounds like Craps odds will be low too with a concern for higher table limits. The places I plan to visit have 3CP, roulette, BJ , Caribbean Stud and Craps. One (Ritz Carlton) does have LIR.

Last year Ritz Carlton and El San Juan had 3/2 BJ and double odds at craps.
El San Juan used to open their craps table at noon but stopped a couple years ago, Now I think all hotels open craps at 7pm.BJ tables open around noon.
