Well it's August 24th and I leave at 7am on September 6th. Time is dragging.....work is getting in the way! I wish I could just close my eyes and it would be the night of the 5th. I would feel a lot better!

    Does it drag for everyone?

For me, I generally go every 6-8 weeks. Since my trips are so frequent, the time between trips seems to fly by.

I'm generally trying to figure out how to cancel my trips the closer I get.

I know it does for me. But the most irritating part is when the day comes it seems you blink your eyes and the damn trip is almost over.

I have yet to have a Vegas trip where I wanted to come home before it's over.

I hear you there, booked a trip to Vegas two weeks ago for the first weekend of NFL season and the last couple weeks have felt like a couple months..reading others trip reports helps to pass the time.

Boy is that ever true! Since by far most of trips are dedicated to doing business, I try to weasel in some fun, as much as I can, on "my own time" and I get pooped by the time I leave. It may be about time for me to face up to being 57 and taking my oxygen-tank and walker downtown for a slower paced set of activities more suited for a fella my age!

It either drags big time or I realize everything I have to finish up before I leave and it flies by.
    This time it is dragging.

You still seem "young at heart" by your posts! As far as Downtown, it seems there are changes that will make it more appealing for the young'uns and young at hearts. I had a lukewarm attitude to all these changes but is slowly realizing that if done right, young and old can play together Downtown. All indications so far seems to lead to a positive environment!

In other words, come visit sometime........:evillaugh:beer:

This one is dragging for me. I desperately need to get away. My GF and I have a great plan of gambling/dining/relaxing/entertainment/strip clubs.
