What's your biggest win on Mega Bucks? I won $400 once. My brother in law won $800 last year. I play it once a day every day I'm in Vegas. How about you? What's your biggest win and how often do you play it?
Last year at Bally's I was in line to cash out a tito for a few bucks and the line was not moving. I saw the Mega Bucks machine and decided I would just play it. Ended up winning $100 bucks which is the most I ever one. I play several times during every trip and the one at PHO gives me a lot of play but never any big wins. Mark
$900 and change at Mandalay last month. Hoping to multiply that by about 11,000 times next week :evillaugh WE play usually once a property on different machines each day.
One time I won over $800 on the machine. It was funny because I would always play that machine at the MGM Grand and I usually did well on it. Too bad, I think they moved the bank of mega machines and when I played the machine after it moved I was never as lucky to have a winning session. I usually will play the mega machine at least once a day, put $21 into it and when it is gone I am gone. I still want to win so I can retire already.
I won $7500 back in February playing the 3x-4x-5x version at the Wynn. I made another trip in June and my largest win was only $540. I give it a lot of my play even though I realize its payout isn't as good as most dollar slots. Like makikiboy, I play with the hopes I can retire early.
Me too. I even try to figure out how to remain anonymous after I win. Swear the casino and my family to secrecy so as not to incur "friends and family" that all of a sudden come out of the woodwork, if you know what I mean.
I think you have the option of "going public" or keeping your identity anonymous if you win the big one. There's a book on Amazon.com written by a former Megabucks winner who went public with his win and it describes how his life got turned upside-down and how he became paranoid about all sorts of things after his big win. A good case study about why it's not a good idea to go public with a big win.
Had a $150 hit once. Cashed out at $204. Started with $30. Not necessarily a massive win but still nice. That's the best I've done so far.
Hit for $669.36 at the Mirage back in April! My biggest slot win so far. pics here: https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?119670-Boxofbirds-4-25-4-28-Almost-Live-Trip-Report!!&p=1123700#post1123700
Sorry for getting off topic but I laughed when I saw this post. I told my friends if I won they would probably have a photo of me standing behind the big check. My face will be hiding behind the check and the name on it would be "mystery winner", lol.
