Looking for a cosmo host if anyone had one they would like to share. I'm strictly mlife currently and Aria is my home. I'm platinum and usually earn between 150,000-200,000 tc. per trip. Cheers
last week it seems, a host might rate your action/ loss but a first timer?, floor said whatever...keep the card
My host left Aria and is now at Cosmo. I exclusively play table games and he has reached out to me a couple times from Cosmo.
I'm bumping this as I have the same request as the OP. I certainly don't expect anyone to vouch for me. I'd just like the name of someone a VMBer has been happy with. I'll be staying on a marketing offer. I would just like a contact to touch base with before my trip rather than having to go to the host's office, hat in hand, begging for backend comps at the end of the trip. (And I'll probably ask for a ride to/from the airport.) My play must be similar to the OP's as I earned a similar # of MILF tier credits on my spring trip. I'm a 50% Video Poker, 40% Blackjack, 10% Craps guy - so i don't think it matters whether your host is a slot host or table games host. Shoot me a PM if you're willing to share your host's name. Thanks!
cosmo will rate table player and then eveluate your worth and comps, you dont get the points instantly like slots does , dont expect a 10$ table player to get anything but a a solid 50$ and up will difinatly get comps from cosmo just have to ask. palms is the same way except they will rate a 5$ player , so are a few other casino but your building up comps in there system while there tracking you. so always give your card.
My advice, go to the Cosmo & give some decent play. They indeed want slot players. I was contacted by a Cosmo host just days after returning from Vegas. It was my first time staying there. She now handles al my arrangements. Believe me, they will find yow if you give them enough play.
Carve, if you don't get any referrals you like, you can always go to the host desk right at the entrance to the high limit (or if it is not manned for some reason, the host offices are at the back of the high limit near the restrooms) and speak with a host. That's how I met my host (whom I am very happy with).
I asked for a host referral at the Cosmo a while back on this board and seeing people don't know me on this board and have no idea what my play is like no one wanted to give me a referral. So I contacted the host desk myself before arrival and talked to them. They didn't have much to offer me either as it was my first stay at Cosmo so had no history with them. Gave them a short list of my history with other casinos but still not willing to do anything for me upfront, which I can understand their point on that. It took no time at all (maybe a few hours) and a host tracked me down on the casino floor, introduced himself and what he would like to offer me for comps on that trip and on future trips. Heading to Vegas Sept 12 for a week, staying at Venetian for 4 days and Cosmo for 3 days (this is the 3rd trip to Cosmo this year). The Cosmo host has arranged a wraparound fountain view with connector room and limo for 4 to the airport, food comps are never a problem either. There is free play attached to the stay but not by him it was based on my previous play and stay. My suggestion to you would be to make yourself known at the host desk or office when you get there, let them know you are interested in having a host at Cosmo then show them what you have to offer them on the slots. If they like your play they will find you very quickly.
$50 and up seems to be a good number. I'm usually rated just under $50 with some marathon video poker sessions to supplement my action. Getting a car to/from airport has been an easy comp to get by just asking the host too. That's been the only extra I've gotten upfront. I usually stay on a marketing offer and then visit the hosts before I leave.
