Going to LV next month with some buddies who haven't been there in years. I'm going to surprise them with a limo from the airport to start us off right.

For well under $100, you get a chauffeur to come find you, help you with your bags, and take you to your hotel in a nice limousine. Maybe even get some drinks and see the lights of the strip. For a reasonable price you get to start your trip with a "High Roller" experience.

Are there any other places or events you would put in a similar category?

Go to Spearmint Rhino strip club early to get their Happy Hour bottle service. Only $150 for a 750 ml bottle of vodka and mixers.

I'll admit to being a person who dislikes the trend of bottle service in general. I get it though, and apparently there are people who will pay, and most of those nightclubs I wouldn't go to even if they didn't have bottle service.

But bottle service at a strip club makes zero sense to me. Even at a "we need you drunk because these are the day shift ladies" discount.

Let's do the math. Drinks are usually $15 each, and you don't get a table with seating. Let's say you have 6 guys, each gets 3 drinks, that's $270.
For a $150 bottle, you can make 18 drinks (760/18 = 41.7 mls, which is 1.5 oz or one drink) AND you get your own small area for your group of guys to enjoy lap dances, just like a group of VIPs, which is what the OP was looking for: a champagne experience at beer prices.
And for your information, the day shift ladies at the Rhino are still quite beautiful and entertaining!

I'll concede that it may be the type of thing the OP is looking for, depending on how badly he and his friends go to the Rhino.

But my issue with the math is that it pre-supposes your business. If your strip club is going to charge me $15 a drink at a standing room only table, so offering me bottle service that is a comparative bargain is like offering to me a buy 1 get 1 free coupon for a MacDonalds that charges $20 for a Big Mac.

But I could just be spoiled by Canadian strip clubs.

When was the last time you were in Vegas? It sounds like you are expressing sticker shock.

    September 2014.

Not so much sticker shock. Just a different perception of value, again partly based on the strip clubs I am used to at home vs what is in vegas. And also partly based on the fact that you are charging a premium for hot dirty girls and liquor in a town loaded to the rafters with hot dirty girls and cheap liquor.

You can't get "hot girls" to give you dirty lap dances in Vegas except at strip clubs. If you know of a place, please do share.
I also don't agree with the cheap liquor in Vegas perspective: you have to gamble to get "free" drinks, and that can get very expensive!
Your argument is the same as saying why pay $50 for a steak at a strip casino property when I can get the $9.99 special at Ellis Island. The ambience at a Vegas strip club is different from the ambience at a night club and from downtown, and from Canada.

Well, this is a fun argument that I'd be happy to keep pursuing, and I always love to hear other people's perspectives.

But I feel kinda bad for hijacking savage's thread. So I started a new thread in Vegas After Dark where you can continue explaining to me how wrong I am.

Not champagne for beer $, but maybe sparkling cava $ - if you're interested in a meal at a high end restaurant, see if they're open for lunch.

Likewise, if you want to eat a big meal at a buffet, go for lunch to save money (unless there are particular foods you want only available at dinner).

In that same vein, tix4tonight and/or Restaurant.com can get you discounts on some nicer restaurants. Not the Cristal ones perhaps, but at least the Moet & Chandon's of the world.

Check out the happy hour at the higher end restaurants -- Drinks are usually 1/2 price and you get 1/2 price appetizers at most happy hours.

I've been to 4-5 strip clubs in Vegas, they absolutely do not compare at all to what we have over here in East STL. Ours are way more trashy, full nude and 1/2 the price...Found Vegas strip clubs to be a colossal disappointment, but I guess if you don't have them locally, it'd be worth going once or twice.

And when you are done at the local strip club and step outside, where are you?
    That's right, NOT Vegas.

Ya got that right :) I only went to them in Vegas for a couple bachelor parties, I almost never go locally anymore.

Way more to do in Vegas than get shook down by a stripper that wants tips even though you're standing away from the tables trying to drink a beer lol

$100 for a $12 ride. Thats not exactly what I would consider a beer budget.

$150 for a $20 bottle of booze. Not my idea of frugal either.

Making your own fun and experiences is always way funner and more memorable then paying someone to provide the memories for you.

"$150 for a $20 bottle of booze"....surrounded by your friends and 8-10 level gorgeous topless babes who will squirm in your lap.
So NOT just a $20 bottle of booze.

"Making your own fun"....yeah, all guys with at least one good hand can do that for free.

You don't have to like everyone's suggestions. But you DO have to be polite to each other. If you don't like an idea, move along. And there's no need to continue to defend your ideas when others aren't interested.

Thank you for shopping at Self-Righteously Indignant-R-Us. lol

It's freakin' toasty, but summertime golf in Vegas is a deal.
