Been to Vegas so many times. Been lurking here for a while and felt it appropriate to make my first post about food because i love food and love Vegas!

Anyways intro done, tomorrow is my 21st birthday. Staying at the Flamingo.. going to be a group of 6. Trying to find a hidden gem... so the wait won't be outrageous and price isn't beyond crazy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

P.s. looking for more of the restaurant steakhouse atmosphere.

Try Charlie Palmer Staeak at the Four seasons....order from the cut of the week menu or the MJ menu and you get a decent meal with wine for $49

Still a tad too pricey. Looking for more of the 20-30$ a range per person. Sorry should have made that more specific. Thanks for the recommendation though :)

Outback at Casino Royale. You will not find a steakhouse for that price point near the strip other then Outback. Or if you wanted something more fun go to Margaritaville.

Near that price point I'm thinking one of the good burger joints with a good array of craft beers. Maybe trundle down to Border Grill (I can't say yea or nay about the new one at Caesars) for NuevoMex in a fun setting. Gonna stretch the mark a bit but in both cases you're not eating Anywhereville Chain.

Trying to find a steakhouse at that pricepoint is going to be quite a challenge. There are a number of casinos that offer a steak special that is affordable. A couple include Ellis Island or the Hard Rock.

My daughters 21st is today and she went to yard house at town square at midnight last night. She goes to unlv so is a local so I guess they didn't want to hit the strip or DT. The yard house has a ton of beers on tap...

Yeah, the Yardhouse is pretty solid especially at that price range. They have one at the link as well and its only a short walk from the Flamingo, good food and a great beer list as mentioned. If interested in eating a mean burger look into Stripburger down by the Fashion Show Mall.

Thanks for the great tips! There is a Yardhouse right where I live, and love it. But want to find something new I've never tried and am being so indecisive about this choice. I do love burgers though.. Anyone ever tried the new restaurant Guy Fieri opened or the place called Burgr? Thanks again!

I'm going to mention Chayo at the Linq. It's a mexican restaurant/tequila bar. I went here once for a retirement party. I didn't eat anything so I can't comment on that (food looked good though), but the atmosphere was nice. Prices are right in your range. I think it would be a good spot for what you're looking for. Try and get a reservation for wherever you choose.

Haven't been to Burgr or Guy Fieri's new place. I've heard good comments on the board about Burgr though. I went to Guy Fieri's one restaurant in sacramento a few years back and didn't care for it. Haven't tried another one of his restaurants since.

I like Burgr. I go there at least once every trip. There are often very long line ups. I'm not sure if you can make a reservation. If you are a Diamond or 7 Stars, you can cut the line.

You have to go to Holstein's at Cosmo!!! Best burgers and milkshakes ever! It's very modern, the prices are very reasonable (you can do a burger and boozy shake for 30 bucks) and you'll have a great time! Happy bday!

And you can make reservations on Open Table for Holsteins!

Been to both Guy Fieri's (at the Linq) and Gordon Ramsey's Burgr (at PH) multiple times. I would recommend both places and the $30 price range per person is definitely doable. Great burgers. Fieri's have a few more non-burger choices with outside (people-watching) seating available.

Yes, its okay but both Stripburger and Holsteins serve a much better burger imo. For my 21h birthday i would pick Holsteins @ Cosmo for both scenery and food. You will have a great night there and easy to continue the party at one of their bars after your dinner.

I'm a big fan of Michael Mina Pub 1842 at MGM Grand, and have done a number of bachelor party meals there. Holstein's at Cosmopolitan is great too, although it tends to be a bit more loud and raucous (which you may or may not be looking for).

Isn't there an Outback Steadhouse at every corner in major city? It is his/her 21st birthday. We should think harder to find a special place.
