    A couple things I don't like.

    1. When people play multiple $1's on the middle bets. It slows the game down every time and all for a couple dollars
    2. Tons of drunk idiot people playing. They smell, bump into you constantly, and I have to guard my chips from fear of them snaking some. I don't mind drunk people because I'll most likely be drunk at some point, but not the stupid ones and they seem to frequent the same places.
    3. Casinos with only 2 tables. Gives me very little options if the people playing aren't people I want to play with.

I do like PH, Ballys, and Harrahs most of the time. I ask on the Strip because I dont feel like going downtown or far off the middle of the Strip this coming up trip.

I'd be looking for a $25 min. table

I got the Cabana room at the Linq for Labor Day weekend, hows the craps there? I've walked thru the Linq before but cant remember anything about it. If the craps is good there that would be perfect cause I'd rather not even have to leave the hotel my whole trip. Are the dealers cool there? Do they have quick drink service? Is there a good amount of tables? How's anyone done there playing craps?

Mirage had pretty good craps tables in March. Four of them I think. Quick drink service. The $25 min table had maybe 4-5 players. No fire bet though.

I play almost entirely craps. I play a lot of middle bets and hop bets. I do not slow down the game. I play the same way all the time. Pretty much all the dealers (at PH and Paris) know how I bet, so it's very fast.
What slows down the game are the idiots who don't know what they have on the table and constantly ask what they have out. They can't follow that there bets are in the position they are standing at the table. I find the late bets to be the most annoying. How many times do people gave to be told to get their bets in when the dice are in the middle? They are the same people who get pissed when the dealer calls no bet on their late bet.
I rarely see $25 tables unless it's a long weekend or an event weekend(like super bowl).

Your right its not everyone that plays the middle. I was really talking about the group of 4-6 friends that are all gathered around eachother that have $15 in dollars in the middle per person and they are only playing $10 on the pass line with no odds. The middle looks like a white chip war zone and anytime they win they take forever to understand what they won and then, yes, press them after the dice are out. I've found taht for the most part these kinds of players/groups usually stick the the same casinos and other casinos are alittle more normal.

When you say you rarely see $25 min tables, what are the mins? Lower or Higher? I have usually seen $10-$25 min tables at most of the casinos on the strip.

I'm not sure "idiot" is the correct term here. Craps can be extremely intimidating for a new player and it's easy to get confused if you haven't played much. Everyone makes mistakes.

Usually table minimums are lower. Most of the tables this past weekend (Memorial Day weekend) were $15. I did see one table with a $25 minimum. During the week, the minimums are usually $10. There might be a midweek, swing shift $5 table.

Your gonna get that anywhere at any casino from time to time. Unless you just want a empty table.

In my opinion, the best craps games on the Strip are at Caesars Palace and V/P. Bellagio is next. Mirage and MC are among the worst.
I just stayed at Caesars Palace the first week in May. By my second or third day, the Craps suits knew my (Green chip plus) play.
Without me even thinking about it, a table supervisor came up to me when I bought into a sparsely populated $10 table and asked if I'd like him to bump up the table min to $25 or more.
I would never have asked for it, but the gesture was very appreciated.

It was great, since the $25 level attracts more experienced players, and repels the drunken frat boys, annoying conventioneer newbies, and fifty dollar buy-ins.
The game moves smoothly. The shooters are more skilled.
You have a better chance of catching a long hand, and it's so much more an enjoyable experience - win or lose.

CP is a very classy act when it comes to craps. I suspect it's a relic of the 80's and 90's when "connected" people stayed and played there.

PS: Caesars Palace usually has four to six craps tables open, even when the traffic only requires 3 or 4.

I will be honest, when I first read your description of what you want to avoid, the three casinos you said you like playing at are three places where I see those things happen a lot!

I would suggest go more upscale. Aria, Bellagio, Wynn. All of those have $25 min tables. Players at those tables in those casinos aren't throwing around many white chips on prop bets. Bellagio is right in the middle of the Strip and you can play at one of the tables facing the high limit slot room, which cuts down on the drunken passerby traffic

Check the Get-Together section; I'm organizing a meet-up downtown (20x odds at craps!). You should come by.

EDIT: At MSS (wher the meetup is) I've rarely seen people like you describe...it's mostly older Hawaiian's (who take craps seriously!)

I'm mainly a craps player and like others have said you're gonna see the center bet action everywhere. Although in my experience generally when you get on a $25 or higher table you'll be playing with more experienced players who get bets in quick. Unless playing with NFL players who love to play yellows on the center bets.

Venetian, Palazzo, Aria, Wynn, Cosmo and Mirage are great craps places

Bellagio is a good bet based on your post. Lots of tables with wide racks means less crowded tables. Generally a higher end non smelly crowd playing there as well.

Aria seems to always have a "nicer" crowd at the tables than some some of the lower end casinos.

I'll play Craps with anyone, anytime, but being a low roller, I suppose I have learned to just enjoy the drunks and other low rollers playing the middle of the table.

What roils me is incompetent side persons who can't do the math.

Aria, Aria, Aria. Super friendly crew (from my experience), fast and good drink service, smells great. I'm a $10 pass/dont with max odds and 1-2 Come bets with max odds player. My last trip during the World Cup I had a nice conversation with the box woman at Aria about who we had bets on and who we thought had some longshot value. I checked my rating the next day and I was rated much higher than what I was playing. It could've been a one time thing, but I get that kind of vibe from the Aria a lot.

Bellagio next door is pretty much the same, but the dealers seem a little more on the grumpy/bored side IMO.

Also, if you don't like being shoulder to shoulder with drunks at the tables, I'd avoid MGM Grand at all costs. They have some great games going sometimes, but if you catch it during an event or a weekend around 9pm (the Hakkasan crowd) and again at 3-4am (the now obliterated and ultra ******y Hakkasan crowd), it's a mess.

    From my experience:

1st Choice: Aria, Bellagio, Cosmo, Wynncore, Cromwell - You should have no problem finding a $25 min table at any of these during most hours

2nd Choice: Bally's, PH, Paris, Caesars, Mirage, Ventian/Pzo, MGM Grand, Mandalay

All others on the strip I don't visit enough to warrant an opinion. Downtown is really fun too, but a different beast.

There used to be no better place to gamble on Earth than Caesars Palace. I was out the beginning of May and saw a craps table in the Olympic Casino for the first time in about 15 years. But I think the place doesn't have the aura that it used to. Glad you had a great experience playing there, and totally agree about the higher the minimum, the less of a ****** factor.

Agree with your 1st Choice list but would add Caesars to it.

Nothing wrong with slowing the game down a bit and these bets can add a lot of excitement to the game.

    Drunk people in Vegas?!?!?!?
Drunk people or not I am always watching my chips. In fact its the non drunks you have to watch out for because the ones out to steal and scam aren't going to be drunk.

You sound like a black jack player. :wink2::evillaugh

Last trip walked through the Linq and played craps there for the first time and really liked it.
Made mention of it in my trip reported and even stated I look forward to stopping by and playing there again my next trip.
