I just got an invitation to a Wynn slot tournament where the top prize is $100,000 in free play. Got me thinking, what would I do with that much slot play, assuming I had to spend it all in one trip?

Maybe $100 video poker? Or $5 Super Times Pay? What would YOU do with it?

    $25 WoF

I would play $25 Wheel of Fortune...for a long long time...

    $1 10-play 9/6 JoB, if offered.
Suck that shit out, and at that level, no handpays really, so no taxes at all.
Truthfully, at $50 a pop, you could suck out the $100k in a few hours...

Timspeed raises a good point, so let's change the question a bit -- Assume you had to use all of the freeplay and could not suck it back out.

Are you talking about the "Sizzlin' Summer Slot Tournament"? I'm thinking about doing that one as well. I'm just trying to decide if the "bonus round" you get by arriving Thursday is worth the huge price difference between Thur and Fri flights from my neck if the woods.

As far as the question: it would depend on when I got it. If I had the whole trip to play it, I wouldn't change anything ($1-10 DDB & Boner Deluxe and 25¢-$1 multi line STP). If I only had a night, I'd probably play the same stuff, just at higher denominations.

$5 10-play 9/6 JoB looks like the best bet. $250 a hand = 400 hands which should take under an hour.

I would play a 50 hand video poker machine at 25 cents.

    -> 50 hands at 5 credits per hand = $62.50 per play
-> It would only take about 3 hours at a moderate pace to play through the entire $100,000
-> You get something back on every hand so no matter what you will walk away with some money if you are just playing it through once
-> On any given hand if you are dealt junk and have no cards to hold you should still get about a third of your bet back. That means overall your minimum expectation should be to convert half the free play to cash.
-> You can avoid W2-Gs: you can still get a W2-G through play, but the chances are pretty low overall: you would need a 4800 credit win which means you would need a dealt hand that is a four of a kind or better, or you would need to hit a royal flush and still win another 800 credits.

Plenty of $100 and $500 machines around.
I would have not problems picking out what to play.
Granted a small portion of the take home pay would be dedicated to playing Craps.

I won 10k FP and ran it through $5 and $10 top dollars.

    Walked away with 12k and a W2G

Since I normally play through around 50k a day (coin in) I would prolly just play my norm.....
Bang around the HL slots ($9-$18 spin) and VP, $18-$30 hand.

Not sure what you are saying?

Of course you could take your winnings. Otherwise, what is the point?

I guess what I meant to say is you are playing for a big score, not simply trying to put coin in to suck out the original stake.

I actually think your original thought is a pretty good choice...$100 VP. Hell, even $25 VP will get you a big score with a Royal. If I remember right, there was a local who hit 2 Royals in one month at my local Casino, for $100k each!

Aaron's 100 play poker is a good strategy. I washed out $5k in FP that way and only had a 2% loss and had no handpays.

Run it through $500 machines and see what happens.

What Auggie said. Then take the net and put it in the kids' college fund. By the time they are ready to go, it should cover maybe a half semester.

Cleopatra 2 of course HAHA, actually VP is the only play since the goal is to convert your FP to cash, play low enough not to trigger to many jackpots but high enough to ruin it down in a trip
