In addition to reducing the benefits we're able to purchase they seem to have tightened up the games tremendously of late. If the games had 85% payback in the past I would guess it's now 70%at most. This seems to have happened in the last month. Has anyone else noticed it? I think they are trying to discourage people from playing.

Yeah, This is definitely a common complaint as of late. My guess would be that they are trying to find a way to encourage chip buying. I would assume that if they drive away 10 people who are fed up with the game but gain 1 person who spends money on chips that is positive for them.

I would love to be on the inside and see the algorithms they use. For example, do people who buy chips get a better payback?

They must have statistics to show the freebies were costing them too much money or just not generating enough income.

If they looked at my playing history, they would say I wasn't worth it for what I spend. (although I always lose more than enough to pay for anything they've even given me and then some) It seems like there would be other things to consider. Example, I combined some rewards and took a group of people to lunch. Maybe one other person in the group even played myVegas. Tracking me, it won't look like they made much on the deal. But I'm the lowest roller of the group, and the only reason those people spent 2-3 hours playing there that day was because of lunch. Same thing when there's 3 or 4 of us and we get a couple free buffets thanks to one of us playing the game. We gamble a little where we eat, then work our way back down the strip, usually stopping at several Mlife casinos along the say.

So far on my upcoming trip I can't find any rewards to purchase. So I may not hit any of those casinos this time. There's plenty of places I haven't been yet that I want to visit. Anyway, it sure would be interesting to know the figures behind all this, wouldn't it.

They have definitely tightened the games. I for one am done trying to collect loyalty points after my trip in July.

What's funny is, I've had two or three legit zero to hero runs in myVegas. The latest a few days ago saw me go from a daily spin on Facespace that got my day started with 45K and let me run it to 1.8mil. That's where the problem is. You get to that amount and start betting big to try and rake in LPs, and...you know the rest. Wiped out. While, yes, that's the very nature of the beast, the same mega losing streak happened in both the Facespace and mobile blackjacks following those runs. Betting 15-30K I could barely win 800 points some spins. With BJ, the dealer had a face as an up card and flipped BJ 5 out of 6 times. It seems it's set to have you get that taste and then you get the craving to buy chips to keep it going. Nah, I'm good.

Anyway, I kept going just to keep building LPs (the game can be fun, but that is kind of the whole point), but man it stinks to see the chips go ghost like that. I think there is some truth to them being tightened up, or something. It's not like they're real games and regulated.

I also notice when I am able to run my points up to over a million and play for awhile for the next couple of weeks I can barely play for 5 minutes and usually only collect the minimum points or loyalty. Had a stretch a month ago got over 16 million points to play played strong for a week gained 100,000 loyalty points, since then nothing.

Like everyone esle I have noitced a reduction in wins. My only true complaint related to the game is. How they have tighted the redemption to only weekdays and not weekends such as the buffet reward at Aria and Bellagio.

I too had the zero to hero runs, 3 in just the past week. One of them I was up 20Million, I was maxing out the bets at 60K a spin and it lasted for a few days, kept winning. But what really bugged me was the challenges. The higher you bet the easier it is to complete the challenges, I think this time there were 6 of them, the first 5 i knocked out in one day. The last one I had to collect 50 items, the prize was like 8 million chips. I was only able to get to 30 of the 50 items, I had about 16Million and never got one more item for the challenge, I knew based off how long it took to get 30 that there was no way I was going to get to 50.
I think you are all right, they tag you with some algorithm, how much you cash in based against how many chips you buy. Think after my next trip coming up I'm done.

They are mad at people like me, who has put exactly $0 into the game, but has drawn nearly $2k in comps over 5 trips. The game has gotten tight, the awards are getting worse & now they've incorporated this (we will renew the awards when we want) policy, which makes it difficult.

I've been playing almost since day 1. I've had free rooms at Aria and front row seats to "O". Between my wife and I we've saved thousands of dollars on our last 5 trips, but the reduction in the rewards, and the tightening of the slots pretty much makes the game worthless to me now. I'm using the last of my LPs for my upcoming trip, but that will probably end the relationship between MyVegas and me. It's been a good run, but it's time to move on now.

Tightened for sure: April started out so well where I spent 16m XP, and gained 1.7m coins in the first 15 days. Then things, turned south: During the last 15 days, I spent 12m XP and lost 1.5m coins. So far in May, 8.3m XP, and lost 1.4m chips. Since 4/15, I have spent 20.2XP, and lost 2.8m chips.

Maybe not a bloodbath, but when you lose 1/3 of your "stash," I hurts a bit.

Still, more rewarding than Angry Birds.

I have never spent a dime and enjoyed some Cirque tickets and a free bucket of beer or two. Looks like it is about to no longer be worth the effort though after this summer trip. I wish they would just offer the basic stuff like the free beer that included admission at Monte Carlo to the pool area. We went in and enjoyed the pool and will be back to stay there now (had never booked there before). Smaller stuff gets folks in the door to gamble and pay for it that way.

I want the free stays at Aria to return before my trip to LV in the fall. Other than that there's no rewards that I really want to redeem my LPs for anymore

I dont know if they've tightened up, but since there is no way to get 2 nights at one hotel, I guess I care less. Still gunning for good show tickets, but mostly I'm interested in the random craft cocktail reward now. Most of the rewards are 2 for 1, which don't always work for me. One of these days I'll take Aria up on one of their $79 a night offers, and add on to it, but for now, I'm amazingly getting CET comps.

I am in exactly the same position, been playing since introduction and used up a ton of rewards during the last 4-5 trips, while spending $0 in buying chips. I am probably going to be done with the game once I burn through the remainder of my 450K LPs. I did a quick calculation just now (by jotting down my "redeemed" rewards), which doesn't even include my wife's account, some values are my subjective estimates :

    Aria Signature Pastry : $10
    Monte Carlo $50 dining credit x 3 : $150
Bellagio Lunch Buffet for one : $25
    NYNY $75 F&B credit : $75
MB Brunch at Border Grill for two : $70
    Aria mid-week comp room : $150
    Luxor Jabbawockees tix : $50
    MGM Wolfgang Pucks 2-1 entree x 3 : $60
Aria two lunch buffet passes : $70
NYNY one ticket to Zumanity : $80
    Monorail single ride ticket x 2 : $ 10
MGM Suger Factory free popcorn : $3
    MGM $50 FP : $50
MB Two Shark Reef passes : $30
Aria two dinner buffet passes : $80
Aria one dinner buffet pass : $40
    Mirage $50 FP : $50

    Total : $1,003

Wow, looking at my list, I can't believe I got more than a grand over the last 3-4 years out of this game. On the flip side though, although I did not spend a dollar on the game, I must say the game did what it's supposed to do : I lost much, much more than $1,000 while gambling on MLife property during those trips. How much of that loss is of direct contribution from this game is debatable, since I am a MLife person anyway, but one thing for sure is that we gambled more than we normally would with increased budget, plus the freebies just make you feel good in general. My wife always laugh at me because I go after these freebies, but at the same time lose much more on the tables, but hey, isn't that just human nature? I love it!!

That's quite a haul, Superpocky. I've got just over 400K LPs now and am hoping to grab a few nights at Red Rock with them later this year. My savings aren't quite so impressive, but every little bit saved is more to play! :D

3 nights midweek Monte Carlo $150
1 weekend night Monte Carlo $118
    $25 FP Mirage $25
    3 lunch buffets Mirage $75
    1 dinner pass Aria $35
1 lunch buffet Monte Carlo $20

    Total ....$423

I have over a mil LPs and find nothing to spend them on. Only one night allowed at the hotels and the very few things I want to spend them on are always sold out. The new system of restocking sometime between 6 and 3 stinks. I am not going to hang on the game for 6 hours for "maybe" getting a chance for a 50 voucher. I tried for 2 weeks to get the Monte Carlo reward and have given up.
