They were discussing this over at wizard of odds
It is (up to) $1K loss rebate, much like Tropicana's from what info I have gathered.
Good on slots only (not VP).
Lose up to $1K in 24 hours...get 50% rebate in free play immediately. Receive 25% in 1 month, and 25% in 2 months.
Now, I am curious--how long is my free play good for?
(this works well for me--will be there in 3 weeks, back end of July, back in November--not sure will hit DT in July, so can I just get my other 50% in November?)

Thanks for the quick reply. i guess I should visit the Wizard of odds more often. To bad it is not good on VP, I do not like slots.

Not a terrible promo, but you can still donate all your money. Take a $1000 loss, get $500 in freeplay. It has to be played. If you win, great. If not...

I'm really annoyed I was stupid enough to sign up April 26 to use an ACG coupon (at least I won that I guess).

I'll be even more annoyed by this if the latter free play windows last longer than a month. The way it reads in the WoV thread though, I wouldn't count on it.

Can you use the free play at vp or is it excluded from both the loss and free play?

Yes, you can play off your free play on video poker. It is only excluded from earning the rebate. I got this from the sign-up employee.

When I asked for a copy of the rules for this rebate, the employee said they did not have them. This is not a good sign. But of course they can change the rules at any time or even yank the whole promo. Beware!

The Downtown Grand now has the rules for this loss rebate available in writing.

Glad there is no minimum to lose, makes it OK I guess for low rollers frequenting downtown

The written rules say "A minimum loss of $50 is required to receive rebate."
