My wife and I love Las Vegas and before our 16 month daughter was born we would go twice a year at least. Last year my mom came out to visit us for a few weeks and watched our daughter for two nights so we could stay at the Cosmo. In October we got comped another two nights and my wife's sister watched her. It's been seven months now and I miss vegas so much.

Unfortunately we have nobody that we trust to watch our daughter for a few nights. My mom has to keep my dad company since he is having knee replacement surgery, and my sister in law just moved to Atlanta. Hopefully during the summer our vegas draught will end. Have any of you been itching to go for a long period of time and couldn't go?

Oh yeah. I had a drought from 2007 to 2011. I'm probably not going this calendar year due to intensive work on the house. I say probably because I must have hope or I'll lose my sh!t.

My first few years of going there, we went 3-4x a year. Havent been since LDW 2013 and I've definitely been having withdrawals since. The local casinos can't even compare to all things Vegas.

I haven't been to Vegas in two years and, yeah, I am going through Vegas withdrawal. Luckily, we have a visit booked for July. In the meantime, I visit my local casino town -- Atlantic City -- a few times a year, but while it's a lot of fun, it doesn't compare to Vegas.

Definitely! I travel there for business six to ten times a year, will be there in a little over a week, read the VMb several times a day, other on lines resources and haven't used a GPS there in years! Always trying to figure out a way to slide in a couple days for a trip but with 35 weeks of travel anyway it's tough.

Vegas is my favorite destination. Lots to do other than gamble, I do get tired of that after a while.

    100% without a doubt.

I didn't take my first trip until five years ago. We went a bunch after falling in love with the city and then I began doing solo trips. I had to put the trips on hold when my mom got sick because I used all my vacation time plus some when work graciously allowed me to go home for two months and help out. After my 18mo hiatus I went back and it was great but I wished I could've gone sooner.

I've yet to be able to get back on a normal visiting rotation because things pop up ranging from work to family to an injury I had. I went last Sept and had to leave three days early because of a family illness.

So yeah I'm an unabashed Vegasholic and I hate when I can't make it out a couple times a year.

Yes. I LOVE it and my wife likes it. Our annual trip could easily turn to multiple time a year for me. I've started to mention going solo. I'm not sure she thinks I'm serious.

Exact same here! I could go every month, but my wife is good with once a year. We went in October and I was good for a few months and then the fever hit me again. Booked our airfare last month for our trip in October again. Waiting on MLife summer offers to come out to see what I can get booked room wise. But I am scouring VMB all day everyday. Booked, and rebooked rental car several times also. My wife laughs at me because every other day I tell her how many days until our trip (5 months from tomorrow). [emoji17]

Got back just three weeks ago. I've probably gone from once per 12 month period to once per 10 months frequency. Solo trips have become more of the rule than the exception. I've been in Vegas probably in every month of the year except February and August, for some reasons. Closest trips together have been six weeks. That was based on an airfare deal too good to pass up. It's not necessarily a goal, but I can see my average going to twice every 12 months.

My wife and I just got back from a week in LV on 4-30. A couple days ago she said "I'm ready to go back, what about you?"

Once I'm inside 30 days for each of my three annual trips I start to do a lot of research on things to do. VMB helps in this tremendously. I also start having decidedly good dreams about the BJ dealers at GG.

Once I'm back I'm good for a few months and then before I know it I'm at the 30 day mark.

I like to go three times a year, for a week each, so I don't feel like I have to cram everything in during a short stay.

No real withdrawal, but the good folks here at VMB fill the gaps and I find a way of living vicariously through them with their TRs and all the info they provide.

I'm reading VMB a little after 7 am on a Sunday morning. I'd have to say yes I suffer Vegas withdrawals.

Hope is what keeps me going too. A 4 year drought I could not handle.

Yeah same here. Local casinos here are ok, but it just isn't vegas!

    Lol good answer!

I definitely have them too and been there twice this year already, but my arm wouldn't have to be twisted for number 3 this year.
