I'm a bit disappointed that my Colts took a WR in the first round with so much defensive and OL talent available. What do my fellow NFL fans think of their teams' picks at this point?

I like the Bears picks through round 3. The last few years the roster has turned over 50-60% which isn't a wining formula. New additions are part of a core that they can build around but it will take a few years to get to a competitive level.

Kevin White, WR - best player on the board, good upside
Eddie, Goldman DT - fills a need in new 3-4 scheme
Hroniss, Grasu C - fills a big need on the OL

Being a Seahawks fan has meant two things in recent years.

    1) We will not have a first round pick. We haven't had one for three years in a row which I believe they said is a record.
    2) John Schneider and Pete Carroll will usually take somebody that makes the fans go "What the fuck?"

With that being said, they've been to the Super Bowl two years in a row so who gives a shit what people think of who they draft. If anything today is the fun day to watch for Seahawk fans. The ability of them to get great picks in the mid-later rounds has been astounding (Wilson, Chancellor, Sherman).

Yup, no one can argue with demonstrated success at the highest level.

I think the Giants have had a really great draft so far. Basically 3 first round talents. I thought Flowers was a bit of a reach but if he's making pro bowls in a couple years no one will remember he was drafted a little high. Also, collins in rd 2 was a steal and should help the run defense. Odigzuwa in round 3 is an even bigger steal. Prototype 4-3 end, fell because of injury from a couple years ago. My favorite player of the giants draft. I would have been happy with him in round 2, let alone the 3rd. They can draft 2 punters the rest of the way and i'd still feel amazing about this draft.

I thought dorsett was a huge reach especially being so similar to hilton for the colts, but hey what do i know. Chargers have been having a pretty good draft in my opinion, as have the falcons. Beasley and Coleman are both potential game changers. If coleman were on another team he'd have been a 1st rounder. Runs like a deer.

My Niners went full potato and got a bunch of role players. Made no sense passing up Jaelen Strong. In Baalke we trust i guess...

I would have snatched Nelson Agholor with the 19 pick. All in all, though, Cleveland played it pretty safe. A decent draft.

Unfortunately, they didn't draft any new front office personnel.

I'm a homer, but I think Agholor is going to flourish in Philly.

I think I'm happy with the Packers draft..Shore up the secondary and get a nice fullback and WR and possibly the UCLA QB can be good for the future just like Rodgers turned out by learning on the sidelines a few years..

I'm hoping in a couple of years fans will wonder how Devante Parker fell to the Dolphins. Great player and person, fins up!

My skins got some good impact players... OL, DL, and the wildcard for me is Jones from UF... if he can stay healthy we shall have a solid RB backup

I'm still waiting for Dallas to draft a RB.
    From NFL.com
No back for the 'Boys: After losing DeMarco Murray in free agency and signing the oft-injured Darren McFadden as a shaky response, the Dallas Cowboys were thought to tap a running back early in the draft. They didn't. And they didn't take one late, either. Perhaps trusting in one of the NFL's top offensive lines to generate a rushing attack regardless of who totes the mail, the Cowboys' backfield is now as anonymous as it's been since Troy Hambrick took over for Emmitt Smith.

Not sure they can fit him in the cap as he wants a load of money.

Yep, the Cowboys have very little, if any, cap space. That's why they had to let Murray leave in the first place. I thought they'd move up to take Gordon. THAT, would have been great for Dallas.

I'm interested to see how well Murray's replacement will fare behind that great offensive line. I bet they do well and it will prove that Murray was a lot more average than we thought.
