Bringing the family along for a trip this summer. Would like to get everyone in a large suite, perhaps with a connecting room. I can't get any of these fully comped, so I will be paying a bit. But assuming all things equal money wise, what's the choice here? As far as my family goes, they're all low rollers. They're mostly slot players who budget $500 or so per day. There will be five people total. Can I ask that their play be considered towards my backend comps?

EDIT: I screwed up the title. They're all two bedroom penthouses.

I hadn't considered that. I've never actually been to Vdara. How's the walk to Aria?

Ok. One of those traveling I'd a senior, don't want to make her walk too much unnecessarily.

Price will not be the same for those, do you have dates? That will probably kill some of your choices. Once you have dates, you will be able to round your choices down to just a few of the affordable ones since money is an issue in this case.

I have looked at Elara when searching for the bigger suites (large towers right behind Planet Hollywood, used to be the Planet Hollywood timeshares) through Booking.com or Expedia, one of those sites. Sometimes they go on sale.

There was also that site you can book all the CET property hotel high end rooms like that, called Autograph or Prestige or something, can't remember off the top of my head.

Like I said, price isn't much of a concern. Just looking for the best fit for the group. Also, no CET for me.

I don't think a two-bedroom suite is going to be big enough to sleep 5 people without someone crashing on the living room couch.

Another alternative: get a Wrap Around terrace suite with connecting one bedroom at the Cosmo. You will get in total two bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and two couches, and the terrace.

I suppose I should have mentioned that I will be sharing a bed with the gf. Still, someone would be on the couch. Which is why I'm considering a connecting room.

Interesting idea. I've never stayed at Cosmo. Perhaps I should contact a host there.

That's what I'm thinking. I really like the SkySuites, but I've never stayed at a pent at the B.

2br lake view pent at the B is nice enough. Great room and beautiful views.

but I just think the entire property has gone downhill of late.

I would do Aria. The price is reasonable even on weekends. If you have a senior person with you, they will like Aria.

I just priced all of these two bedroom suites for Labor Day weekend, along with 2BR suites at Vdara. The Mirage and Vdara were comparable (although the 2BR Tower was about $100 cheaper per night than the 2BR Penthouse at Mirage). Bellagio was about $200/nt over those, and Aria 2BR Penthouse was about $100/nt over the Bellagio.

If pricing is the same, def go with Aria, and it may not be close.

Vdara is very intriguing, but all of the BRs have king beds, IIRC. Vdara is ridiculously close to B, Aria, & Cosmo, will have full kitchen(ette)s, and is entirely non-smoking.

You can get a 2BR PH suite at Bellagio with a 2Q connector.

All of the rooms you are looking at have floorplans on the respective websites.

I check out the Vdara suites on their website and I don't really care for them. They're laid out more like a condo than a suite. Which suite are you going with?

Unfortunately, probably none of the above. I couldn't convince the guys to pony up for a 'home base" suite - it appears we will all have separate rooms.
