I think you guys are only getting offers from the Fremont and not MSS/Cal because that's your "home" downtown Boyd casino. That's probably where you first got your B-Connected cards. I'm pretty sure that if you're getting offers from Fremont and want something similar at the other properties a host can accommodate you.

I changed my offers from Main Street to Fremont by talking to the host (I think that is the correct title) on duty at Player's Club desk at Main Street.

You beat me to the punch, I was told that this had to be done at the home casino.

OK...this seemed like as good a thread as any to pose my question:
I have a bconnected offer for any two nights between now and 5/31/15 - good for any Boyd casino in Vegas. I'll probably piggy-back with two other comp nights at another property.
I have only ever stayed at two Boyd properties - Fremont & Gold Coast (and, of course, the Stardust (RIP  ), but they don't count).

So, of the others (besides those two) opinions on where I should stay for a possible May trip? SunCoast, Sam's Town, Orlean's, MSS or Cal?

Well for me it is a no brainer... mss or cal. I like the freedom to be near a lot of different properties...

I also am debating where to stay this summer and would love to know if anyone knows if you still can charge food from one Downtown Boyd property to another.

In 2014, you could charge Fremont back to MSS, so I would assume it would go both ways, but a simple phone call might make sure that policy still exists.

I have not called as of yet. I know you can, I just do not know if I can with my $15 per day food credit. The point is moot :poke: as my wife wants to stay at Femont...so I cannot I will just need to eat there.

The comp'ed meal books can be used at other Boyd properties. We were provided a book in March from the Fremont and used it there, Cal and MSS. You may have to pay a couple of bucks on top of the coupons, but that was all.

I like the Orleans. It has just about everything anyone could want ...
Except it is off strip and not close to downtown either. Nice pool, great poker room, good table games, lots of places to eat. Slots all over the place. An arena, nice rooms. A shuttle to the strip.
In this situation I have taken the shuttle to the strip and the bus to downtown to save money. Or just cabbed it if it was late or time was short. Oh,
It also has a nice looking pool which I never have used.
