    Just got back from Vegas.

A couple key learning, if you guys already didn't know/I didn't know:

    7Star Stuff:
    1) Skip Line & Cover (Omnia) - Free for you +3. Look for sign at front. If you have more than 3, they'll just make you pay cover, but they'll let those people skip the line with you (was able to do 7 people total).
    2) Skip Line (Drai's and Drai's After Hour) - No sign, have to ask bouncer. If they said they'll be right back...ask a different bouncer or you might be there for a while.
    3) Special Drinks - The Pit Boss said 7Star can order premium drink specials at Cromwell. MADE me order a Johnnie Blue to verify.
    4) Bacchanal Buffet - Free Champagne, Red or White Wine.

    Other Stuff:
    1) Drink Charges - You can charge it to your room even if you're not at Cesar's Palace. Find a different bartender if they say so otherwise, i.e. find a bar less crowded (outside on the rooftop is a good spot).
    2) Taxes (Craps) - You have to pay taxes if you play the fire-bet and it hits numbers and you have =>$5 on it.
    3) The host won't be able to comp anything until you use up all your RCs first. Wish I knew that before I went HAM at the club. Should've converted my RC to free play first.
    4) Hunter is an awesome host. Highly recommended.
    5) Venetian does not rate Table Games. Wish I knew before I spent 4 hrs playing there ; (

Bossof.1 said "5) Venetian does not rate Table Games. Wish I knew before I spent 4 hrs playing there"

Actually, Venetian and Palazzo do rate table play, but not if your average is below about $50. (Some supervisors might pick up ratings at $25).
Anything less than green chip play won't even get their attention.
However, if you've been playing for 3 or 4 hours at a lower level, you can speak to the supervisor after you color up and he might put in a rating for you.

Thanks for sharing; hopefully I'll make 7 star one day! Interesting on the Johnny Blue. Agree on Hunter as well.

Thanks for sharing, nice information. Especially with Omnia. Did a host have any intervention with it? Cause I know some clubs it's at their discretion.

Thank you very much for the information. We will be going to Vegas this week and I did not know that those were some of my 7 star benefits.

@SteveAC01: Whoops, yah caught me Steve. I meant to say that you don't get points on your Grazie card from Table games (my definition of rate). But yes, to clear up the confusion SteveAC01 is correct.

Nope, no host. Usual 7 Star benefits. Just from judging the usual 7 Star crowds I've come across, they're not one to go to the clubs anyways so I think they were somewhat surprised.

I think it's at the clubs discretion depending on "club capacity" which is usually based on if there's a super hot DJ playing. But I literally walked to an empty line (while the guest list line was out the door), guy asked how many, signed me a slip of paper, and walk to cashier with slip.

    re: taxes
    Are you a US resident?
When a 5 number fire bet with $5 on it is paid out, I've never seen a US resident taxed right there and then, since a 5 number firebet pays 250:1. The threshold is 300:1. A Canadian resident will be taxed 30% off the top and issued a 1042-S. Other foreign residents (eg UK won't be taxed due to tax treaties). A 6 number firebet win will be taxed since the payout is 1000:1.

About 2 years ago I hit the fire bet (6 points) TWICE (1000:1), during the same trip...both @ Margaritaville casino.

They never took any tax from me either time and I am Canadian...perhaps they gave me a break cause I was betting a dollar for the dealers BOTH times??

By the same token, every time I wine a jackpot on the machines I've had the taxes taken out right then and there!

UK taxes have now been changed so I've heard via the U.S. Embassy in London. Unless you already hold an ITIN number they will withhold tax and you have to claim it back. There was too much fraud evidently and I expect they will gain a lot when people don't bother with the hassle of doing a U.S. Tax Return.

I'm surprised. I've hit the 6 number firebet twice......once at Paris and once at PH. They have taken ID info, issued a 1042-s and taxed me 30% off the top. I had to file a US tax return to get the withholding back. No such luck for me....and I always have the dealers on the bet too.

I hear ya, every time I hit a hand pay on the slot machines at EVERY casino (on the strip) I've been taxed the 30% right off the top.....with the exception of the D downtown, I hit a hand pay in July for $1300 on walking dead on the main floor and they just took my ID and came out with the $1300, never took a dime from me....WEIRD!

I can see where the fraud would occur. Floor people were taking a UK passport for ID and NOT withholding tax. The UK passport is not a true indication of NOT being a US resident.

Whoops, yes. Tax only on when 6 number fire hit. I got 2 5's and 1 4's firebet hit and was not tax. Only on the 6 firebet.

Hey Guys, just got back from a day trip from Harrah's Rincon.

Not sure if this applies to Vegas, but the POS fees are no longer being waived, instead they're being reimbursed in the amount of free play.
