Opinions on Wicked Spoon Brunch and Dinner..

 

I really enjoy WS; I prefer it to Bacchanal at Caesars. I have only had breakfast/brunch so can't comment on dinner. The food is fresh, an extremely large selection and you can't go wrong when mimosas or bloody marys are included. I love the angry mac and cheese.

 

I normally do the brunch. It's very good. I recommend using a BOGO coupon as its not cheap. It's been a while since I've done dinner so I don't recall the differences exactly other than its about $50.

 

At Sterling level, you get a 2 for 1 every month.

 

I thought it was just fine. For me, not anything extraordinary, although I do like the way that portions are served in single-portion dishes/pans. I wouldn't pay to go again though. We had a 2-for-1 coupon from the LVA. The spouse hated it and almost limited himself to pizza and mashed potatoes. But then again,he is your classic midwestern boy, nothing but meat and potatoes. He was not impressed with the meat either...LOL

 

I ate there a Friday night and thought it was excellent. The made to order seafood was one of the best dishes I have had at any buffet.
With a BOGO coupon best deal going. Highly recommend this buffet.

 

It was above average for several of the times I ate there, but the last time I had it for dinner, the quality was not as great. It seems like the quality of all the buffets in Vegas is trending down, unfortunately.

 

Although I'd rate it a notch below Bacchanal it's very very good.

 

Where would one find a BOGO coupon?

 

Based on the positive reviews in this thread, we might be willing to pay for a trip to Wicked Spoon despite us having a stay planned for Aria in July with buffets included...thanks for all the feedback.

 

We used the Sterling BOGO tonight. It ran $41 for both of us. Loved several of the dishes and the desserts, especially the chocolate covered strawberries were fantastic.

I would give it a solid 9 out of 10.

 

Tried WS for the first time in January, and I was very impressed. Best Buffet in Vegas (along with Bellagio). The single-serving plates gives you the option of trying many different items. The dessert choices were too numerous; couldn't try all of them.

That's exactly what we did last trip with same deal: Aria buffet for two days, Wicked Spoon third day, Aria breakfast on the way out. I LOVE Wicked Spoon. THey are VERY creative, comparable to other buffets, with their food. I've noticed the folks who don't care for the buffet tend to have the mnore traditional buffet mindset, looking for a MCL/Ryan's sense of simplicity to ther buffets.

After 15 years of going to Vegas twice a year I only hit three buffets: Wynn, Wicked Spoon and Aria

 

I totally agree with you. If you're a dedicated fan of Golden Corral or Cici's type dining, it's almost a given that you won't enjoy Wicked Spoon.

 

Best food is the fudge that they have. But I have only seen it during dinner.

 

I prefer WS to all other buffets bc their dishes are smaller in size which enables you to taste more dishes without being wasteful.

 

I've never had/noticed the fudge, but think I've tried most of their other desserts. I'm a big fan of the buffet. Have only ever gone for dinner.

 

Does anyone know if the Cosmo gives a 'Fun Book' with coupons when checking in?
