I currently receive comps for CET, but I am considering possibly playing the 9/6 JOB machines at MGM or Luxor next time out, to seed future MILFe comps.

What are people's experiences for MGM / Luxor comps with video poker coin in levels of $10K, $20k and or $30K coin in per day?

At PHo, I typically cycle through enough to get the 2,500 tier points and 2,500 bonus points on the 3-5 line $1 9/5 JOB machine in the high limit room. In Vegas, that is one of two games worth playing at the $1 level (the other the 8/5 bonus at Rio, though tier points are very slow at the one line level).

I'd like to see if it is worth seeding a September trip in June, by playing a decent session or two at MGM or Luxor (probably MGM - they have 3-5-10 line 9/6 JOB in the High Limit Room), and I like their resort much better.

    Thanks!

So if you are playing $1 multiline - you will get noticed, depending on what you mean by "decent session." With mLife you need $10 coin in to earn 1 point and 1 point = 10 tier credits. So 10K coin in means 10K TCs. That said, you need to get to 25K TCs to cross from entry level Sapphire to Pearl, If you do that in a single session - you will see MGM offers and very likely comp offers from MGM. Luxor most certainly.

I had to read the title twice.

I thought you were comparing CET with MILFs.

Thanks for your post. I haven't played in a few years at their casinos. In 2008-2009, it was easy getting comps w/ BJ play (green chip) and some slot, but I stopped getting comped at Bellagio when Vegas rebounded. MGM has better VP than CET, so I am considering trying things out next trip in to seed future comps. I played $1 and $2 VP at Bellagio for a few hours last trip, with little to show for it. Used to be the 200K point level, but haven't played there in 4 years. I believe Bellagio was looking for $40-$50K coin in a night for a comped room playing Video Poker. I like MGM's resort, except for the location (do not like heading south of Cosmo/PHo, but MGM is the exception).

You need to tune into MILFe TV the next time you stay at one of their properties.

    Love Didier Synder!

As for CET, you can do a little better than 9/5 JoB for full tier points. CP has 9/5 JoB Spin Poker w/STP (98.72%) w/STP for dollars in the HL room. Also harrahs/flamingo still have 9/5 JoB w/Double STP (98.95%) for dollars. Of course the STP bets jack up the variance a lot. JoB with Double STP is worse than DDB in the variance dept.

But they did get rid of 7/5 Bonus with ultimate x (~99.3%) for dollars though. :( It's now a crappier 6/5.

STP doesn't like me, and I rather stick with the JOB variance (at least at the $1 level) due to the fact that I am on short term visits, versus a Bob Dancer daily VP type existence, and I rather keep the bankroll losses to a minimum and enjoy the trip.

For CET stays, I stick with 9/5 at the PHo High Limit room. I like multi-line action. JW has a 10 line 9/6 JOB $1 game, though I'm not sure I'm up for that many lines (may play there for 3-5 lines if possible). MGM has the multiline 9/6, which is the best game in Vegas for my preferences and $1 level, and the fact that I know JOB strategy, and can use it for Bonus or Aces and Eights.

I like quarter multiline as well, which is why I am starting the June trip at South Point with three line $0.26 9/6 JOB. Other multi line games I am considering are at the Palms, The Orleans and Palace Station. I also like progressives at the Sam's Town and Gold Coast bars ($1 and $0.50 / $1, respectively), and the 8/5 Bonus Vue Par quarter progressives. Sante Fe and Red Rock offer the same game at the bars, and Fiesta at the $1 and $2 levels though on the floor ($2 in HLR).

Finally, MSS, The Plaza, The Cal, 4 Queens, Westgate, Skyline, TI have standard 9/6 on the floor at the $0.25 or $0.50 level, and I don't mind a session playing Aces and Eights at Circus Circus.

So at Bellagio it's 40-50k coin in per day? So what play level is needed for future room offers at MGM/Luxor?

I think it can vary a lot.

I may average close to $10k per day and I always get offers from Luxor (3 or 4 nights) and MGM (usually 2 or 3 nights, most recently 4).
But I also recently got an offer from Bellagio for 3 free nights. (And I'm sure they have enough data on me to know there's no way I'm going to do anything close to 30-40k a day.)
