Fab 2 Queen Mini Suite Pool View vs Fab Room 2 Queen Strip View?

Other than views the mini suite is an extra 200 sq feet bigger.


Anyone know other notable differences?

 

Fab 2 Queen Mini Suite with Pool View does not exist according to a Flamingo reservation agent. I had the same question. The agent said they are in the middle of redoing the room types and the mini suite with two doubles are being renovated soon to mini suites with 2 queens. I just called them on Saturday when I saw I could get a Fab mini suite with 2 queens comped. It wouldnt let me go all the way through with the reservation online. Hope this info helps!

 

I booked it via calling in, because I had the same online issue.

They couldn't find that type of room either until they realized that on their end it's called a 'studio room'

 

Hmm I wonder if I should try calling in again. I wonder if the studio rooms are really outdated? I'm going with 2 other guys so the extra room would be nice to have.

 

I could get the studio room or the FAB room for free 3 of the 4 days.

I've stayed a few times in the FAB rooms (prefer the GO but they weren't comped). I decided on the studio suite (not a true suite - just an L shaped room) because it gives me the opportunity to try something a bit different.

I figure it's not much of a risk because the FAB rooms aren't so special anyway (I don't feel like I will be missing out on any amenity taking a FAB mini suite over a FAB room if the mini suite is outdated).

 

I just booked a Fab Mini suite yesterday over the phone. They had to direct me to VIP services because the regular reservation operator had no idea what I was talking about.

 

Am in correct that they are calling them 'Studio Suites'?

I booked a mini suite online from July 5th - July 9th with a pool view. I used to work for Caesars. I called into the hotel because I know better. One push of a button and your connected to the philippines. VIP Services is code for Las Vegas based reservation agents. The hotel front desk or the "Total Service Specialist" should be able to answer your questions about the rooms. If they need to, they can put you on hold and actually go into a room to see! if I couldn't find an answer to a customer's questions in a timely manner, I went into the casino and hotel to see for myself the answer.

You can always ask the agent to be transferred to the VIP services. When asked for your total rewards number, unless you are diamond or 7 star, don't push anything but # and they should direct you to Las Vegas and BAM... someone in Las Vegas that speaks English as their first language.

 

I also booked a Fab Mini Suite 2 Queens with Pool View. I called the hotel to ask about it and the lady said it's a really nice room and I'm pretty lucky to have it. I think they are saving them for certain members. Yes. VIP Services = Las Vegas Based Reservation Agent

 

Has anyone actually stayed at one of these mini-suites yet? They showed up as a comp offer for us and I booked myself into a King Studio suite, but there was an option for 2 doubles and 2 queens as well (all of them said 550 sqft, some said pool view others didn't). Agent sounded like she was from the Philippines but I did not enter my TR #... she just said she had a very good deal for me with this very special room available for me... I am skeptical. The pictures online seem to show a room that is fairly dated. But this is a new one for me, never seen them come up before.
