    My Trip Report

OK this will start up Mr and Mrs SandsFan trip to AC. Neither of us have ever been there before so we are truly looking forward to experiencing something new. Since we are both the glass half full type people who carry their fun with them.....it will be a great trip. Weather? Well looks like the bike rides on the boardwalk and sun tanning will be out but sooo many other things to do......like gamble.

Mid morning flight to Philly, limo to Caesars will get us there in time for diamond lounge, dinner and gambling to get our 50% bonus and 5x RCs. Definitely go on a walk about of Caesars.

So now to see if I can connect via Tapa Talk?

Yes even the technically challenged can make this work. Was struggling but looks like all is ready for a fun filled trip. Packing essentially complete except for players cards, lucky charms, BR and others things to precious for checked bags. Yes, my precious....VP soon

Yeah the weather sucks, hopefully your flight will arrive on time because it is expected to snow here in the NYC area all night and through the day. I imagine Philly is the same.

IIRC you play higher limit VP but in Caesars HL slot area I think the best games are actually at the $2 level. Also if you go next door to Ballys they have 8/5 BP at $5 and $10 in the HL slots area, I can't remember what the TC earning rate was though. The 5x RCs will be applied to any credits you earn across all their AC properties. Just make sure to swipe your cards at one of the promtional kiosks that day to activate the multiplier.

Also, not sure if this is the same at other CET casinos, but in AC you order your drinks directly from the machine. They have that set up at Harrah's for sure and I am pretty sure at Caesars and Ballys as well but I'm a bit foggy.

    Have a great trip!

Yeah, watch out for reduced Tier credit machines. They have infected AC just like Vegas. I guess the one good thing about the reduced Tier Credit machines is...you definitely know the paytable is good! :evillaugh

I dunno how accurate it is, but VPFree2 says that Caesars has 9/6 Jacks for half tier credits, not horrid. And five 9/6 DDB that supposedly have no point restrictions in the middle of the casino to the left of the men's room.

    Hit some big hands!

Thanks so much for the reply I will definitely be watching the payouts at all levels. But then again I seem to hit the royals at bartops with crappy payout so who knows where the wind blows this trip. I am looking forward to trying Ballys and will check the payouts. My DW has scoped out the spas and will give a full report on how it compares to M Resort, Caesars LV, Rio, Flamingo, etc. Unless of course if its comped in which case it will get my highest marks. :peace:

So bad weather, worse case I am stuck in Philly and have to try out the Harrahs there, if I can land? Nothing for pre trip preparation but a night of Videopoker.com and one plus bottles of wine to get in the mood.

Well, just hit aces w/kicker dealt on ten play DDB so guess I am ready......just kidding,,,,,,,must already be dreaming of an atlantic city state of mind.

Tring my friend, thanks for the insight, definitely search for them. I wish I was as good as you experts on getting the best payouts. I tend to be a bartop barfly following the best comped drinks. I will try hard to follow the best payouts this time but sometimes just have to follow my precious......

Never been to DC but NYC a couple times and snowed in 2010 I think which was awesome as we stayed over a week total. Love the whole experience and so want to go back. Just need a casino there.

Got up early to check the weather here in south Texas and maybe venture to the airport early. We may have a little ice on the roads but should be fine. Looks like the flight is not yet cancelled and still on time.

Sitting at the gate,, all checked in and ready to go. Flight still shows on time so I guess the weather in Philly is ok. Philly airport and roads look clear. Guess we are a go.

For the hell of it I just checked PHL website . It shows flights from Dallas and Houston on time. I'm about 30 miles north of AC,its snowing pretty heavy here at the moment. You'll be coming in on main highways so my best guess is that they will be passable but a little slippery.
