Just got back from the fun Superbowl, and looking to book again...

BUT DAMN... the prices are thru the roof, I am shocked, I know that MM the prices are usually high but wow, these ticket prices are 450 and up... which is really odd to me....

Maybe its that time of year !

Anyone else from the DMV seeing any crazier than normal prices...

From anywhere in NC, $450 has been the norm for a couple of years now. I feel your pain!!

Yeah, were $400 to $460 Ohio to LV for the last year or so. Oh how I would love to see the days of flying out and back for under $200 again!

About $420 for me. Seems typical, don't expect much change!

BWI has been very cheap this year. Direct flights have been sub $250. Maybe a flight to there for some might keep it below $400?

That's about range I've paid (CMH) the past 2 yrs. Just booked flights for April @ $515, but that was dictated more by schedule (attending a conference) than price. Cheapest I saw was $399 (SWA, I think)

Pricing flights for a July trip today, and they're through the roof. I'm hoping they come back down to where they've usually been (paid $475 last summer on AA)

Those close to Cleveland, Ohio you can catch some great prices on Frontier. A friend of mine just booked his flight on Frontier for April and he scored a $285 roundtrip flight out of Cleveland on Frontier April 2nd to April 13th. I usually fly United because of my status but he scored this deal on Frontier.

I am planning my early June trip and from Pittsburgh I basically can't do anything better than $400 RT. I miss the $79-$99 each way trips on Southwest!!

I tend to use SW for Vegas as they are the only carrier with direct to LAS...but I have also looked at Delta as that's where I typically fly for overseas and non-Vegas domestic....even if I use my companion certificate or miles, I'm not saving enough to justify the extra hassle of connecting in Atlanta or Minneapolis both ways.

Booked early March out of NJ for $290 non-stop RT a few weeks ago; went up at least $100 within a week after purchasing. Not sure if they'll fluctuate, but this seemed to be the lowest I've seen locally in years. Good luck!

It's a cross-country flight. $400-500 is pretty typical. Not to mention one bet at the BJ table for many.

It didn't used to be, that is why the fuss. LV was always the cheapest airport to fly into, thus why lots of us went multiple times per year.

And this is one of the reasons we went to Jamaica three times last year and Vegas only twice!

I guess I can't complain about my non stop Buffalo-Las for $$388 (209 there, 179 back). It's up to 457 (250/207) now for the same flight. I agree with earlier poster that I'm used to being able to score better rates for MM at SWA. I haven't flown anyone else, to Vegas, in years.

For those in the Washington, DC area. About two yeas ago, the Southwest direct flight out of Baltimore was a no brainer, but Southwest isn't as cheap as it was?
There are some great prices out of Dulles, but you have to connect.

SW isn't as cheap as it used to be SW has $94 o/w from BWI this summer and $94 o/w return. You're telling me that Dulles has great fares what are they and who's the carrier ?
