We are not leaving until Thurs. morning but I packed today while I had the time. This will be our most ambitious LV trip as we usually don't have these many "events" planned. We are arriving on....

Thurs. and this will be our only day without some sort of itinerary. We will most likely try to make it to RIO and use our Groupon for the tandem zip line though. This is a surprise for Ms. Capt. as she loves ziplines.

Friday- We plan on attending the UFC weigh-in and they we have pit tickets to see Britney Spears as PH. Since I make Ms.Capt endure the UFC fights on Sat. and the Super Bowl on Sun I always let her plan our Friday night.

Saturday- We purchased a table at Blondies that includes all you can drink domestic draft/well liquor to watch UFC 183 and hopefully I will need a calculator to tally up my winnings. I am not sure what we will do when the fights are over, maybe head to Toby Keiths and check out the band.

Sunday- "Big Game" party at Ellis Island. $40 a person for a big platter of food and all you can drink is a great deal for this place. We went last year and it was a blast. I like the low-key atmosphere and small crowd.

Monday- We are checking out the Brooklyn Bowl where the Wailers are playing. We visit Jamaica two or three times a year so we are really into the whole Rasta music scene and are very much looking forward to our two favorite vacations intertwine!

I am also looking forward to meeting up with some of the members here as there are a lot of us staying at Bally's or nearby. VP and craft beer, repeat.

Sounds exhausting but fun. I am sure you will have a great time -- My one suggestion -- hand sanitizer frequently (flu)

Use the six foot rule -- if someone inside of six feet of you is coughing up lung - move

We loved Jamaica also but have only been once. If you have any recommendations for where to stay I would appreciate them. Last stayed Runaway Bay (Golf and snorkeling).

Sorry for the non Vegas response.

Have a great time in Sin City!

I used to do the same until I got stuck at work till 2am with a 6am flight, which means leaving the house at 4am! Made things a bit rough. I save my risk taking for LV now!

Thats when I was owned by the government and my schedule was not mine to control. Even though I am retired now, some things have not sunk in yet so I still plan like I am going to be stuck! Life is much different now, I am sipping some Starbucks I just brewed and have the whole day off!

Nice, those are good jobs! I will be 41 in March. I am back to work on a second career to supplement my pension. I will actually retire when I am 55, such is the plan at least!

Sounds like a plan, have a ball. Ron!

I thought I had over planned in the past, so the last trip I left a day wide open. I thought I was doing well until my wife looked at me and said, "what are we doing tonight?" Luckily I had always wanted to see Jersy Boys and we went to tickets tonite and fixed the lack of planning.

Don't get me wrong, I don't plan 2 shows a night , stay up to 4 am, get up at 9 am like when we were young, but it's always nice to have a plan!

I'm starting to get a strong itch, maybe March Madness

Funny you say that. We felt the same way on our last trip. Its great to have something to look forward to each day. I'm sure its different for everyone, but we don't gamble as much as most on here do.
