Will be with friends in town for the CFB championship and want to have a prime spot to watch the Buckeyes.

We'll be staying at the Cosmo.

I'm debating between Aria, Bellagio, Mirage... Can tables/couches be reserved if I call this week? Normally my trips are solo and I'd be at a VP bar but this is new territory for me.

    Thanks!

I asked the Mirage's books manager once and he said it's first come first serve unless you've got a host hook up. I saw the "reserved" signs and wanted to grab one and was ready to pay but he said that's how they do it.

Look into Lagasse's at Palazzo. I'd call them tomorrow and see if they have anything open. That's a great spot.

Blondie's in Miracle Mile should have reservable spots too

Bellagio has a roped off VIP section towards the back of the sports book. I'm not sure what it takes to get those reserved but I'm sure it's a pretty big bankroll and big bets to get those seats.

You need a host or some other kind of hookup. And since you're not staying at those properties, even if you have a host, they probably aren't going to do a lot to help you (unless you're a big player). I had a buddy that got reserved seats at Bellagio once without a host, but his wife works for a travel agency and she had some hookups at Bellagio to get us the seats. Good luck

Reserved a table online @ Blondie's. Heard good things, we're staying right across the street, should be fun.

At Caesers or Mirage you need a host who is impressed enough with your play that they will do this for you or you need to be known by the Sports book manager as somebody who has a history of making large bets at that property. The kind of bets that make the ticket writer yell "approval" before they can put it through. I doubt MGM or Aria is any different but I couldn't say for sure.

Seems like this question is coming up a lot lately. At Aria, you need a host or some other hookup to gain access to the VIP seating area with the reserved seats and couches. At MGM, to access the skybox, I have always gone through my host. If things are slow, you can try flashing your plat card to the sportsbook manager and see if he will let you up there. keep in mind, flashing it to the teller at the betting window won't get you anywhere. You need to speak to the manager. But I suspect it is the same as Aria: either your host needs to reserve it for you or you need some other connection to take care of you

The sportsbook at the Palms let me reserve 4 seats for a college football saturday this past September. Asked me for how long and would we be betting on games - kept those seats for about 12 hours coming and going. Very simple, no hassle.

That may be the exception tho
