For years I've watched the sad trend of $5 pai gow becoming harder and harder to find. Most casinos only have it at a $10 or $15 minimum, and many casinos have stopped offering pai gow altogether!

Even downtown, which has been a historical bastion of good gambling rules & odds, has followed this frustrating trend. $5 pai gow is pretty much gone.

Does anybody know of off-strip and non-downtown casinos which still have $5 pai gow tables? I'm hoping that it's still lurking somewhere out on the Boulder Highway or other outlying casinos. Thanks!

Most/all of the Station properties will have $5 Pai Gow. On Boulder Highway, Boulder Station has a $5 PaiGow table open pretty much 24/7. Eastside Cannery has $5 Pai Gow but doesn't open a Pai Gow table until 11AM when day shift comes on. I've played $5 Pai Gow at Sam's Town but not sure what hours they have Pai Gow open.

I also play $5 Pai Gow at Aliante in North Vegas. I typically get there at about 6AM and if the Pai Gow table has been shut down (to move dealer to another table on the graveyard shift) most of the time they will reopen Pai Gow for me (if they can move a dealer back over to that table). Out of about 6 requests to reopen the table, they did it for me about 5 of those times. Typically the pit is absolutely dead at 6AM so they don't usually need 2 Blackjack tables open..

I know that South Point's PaiGow did not include a Progressive...I'm thinking that they don't offer a Bonus bet there either...I recall playing PaiGow there but I wasn't liking it all that much..

Back in the day, Sahara's Pai Gow didn't offer a bonus bet either.

South point does have a bonus bet!
Last time I was there (july 2014) at least 2 of their pai gow poker tables were $5. I love playing pai gow poker at South point!
