Was thinking of having dinner on the terrace one night. Has anyone done this? How was it?

If you have a view of the Bellagio, excellent. During the winter, not so much though. It's too cold.

Cold is a point of view my friend. Coming from what may be the teens in January here in Chicago even the 40's would be welcome relief!

Hell today is 34 compared to the low 20's on Monday it feels good.

As Jim Tillman (our local Ollie Williams on the CBS affiliate) said during the banter before the weather when the anchor was complaining about the cold, "It's cold, put a coat on and quit complaining"

I say put on an extra layer, order a hot drink and go for it!

Still i doubt that you are eating outside on a patio in that weather!

I am going to the Bear game tonight to tailgate don't knock it til you try it!

Quick side story I went last year when it was single digits to the Bears Cowboys game. I tried to boil a pot of soup and a tea kettle full of cider for cider bourbons. It was so cold I couldn't boil either on my camp stove at full blast! The beer in 5 minutes started to ice up and my guacamole froze solid.

Anyway you are correct I normally do not, but I do often build a fire and sit outside. That being said considering the beauty and energy of the fountain view terrace suites that is nothing my patio has, unfortunately. But I do plan on having a pot of coffee (Irish coffee) and a cigar when I visit the Cosmo this Jan!

I always laugh when I visit so-cal with relatives from PHX to see them in jackets when it is 60.

Bad phrasing on my part. I didn't intend to insult any particular member's member...

The cucumbers waiting for the sun to go down so dinner can be served out on the Cosmopolitan Wraparound Terrace balcony.

I've never done room service but last trip we grabbed a pizza from Secret Pizza and a few minibar beers and ate on the balcony, watching the fountains and the rest of the strip go by. It was pretty damn cool.

Sorry, I don't have an un-funny sex joke to add. :rolleyes2:
