We are low rollers but have always been able to get 5 nights comped at a few of the CET hotels. I had already booked our next trip in March all comped but last night for the heck of it I logged into my account to see if anything new was available. Much to my surprise there were very few comped rooms available and prices seemed very high. I see the website has changed and maybe I just did something wrong when checking room rates. I was wondering if anyone else had run into this.

Yes, due to the financial shape CET is in, comps are less and rates are up.

Hell, I am Diamond and can't even get a free room at Caesars now. $37 midweek is the best offer I have on the TR web site.

choose the rate calendar for all of vegas you can see the whole month. I am a low roller and did March and have many comp options but not for the upscale properties but for Flamingo, Bally's and only select nights for Paris. There is a lot of Basketball tournaments during the first half of March that could be impacting availability along with spring break.

Depends on your dates, if you're trying to book the first weekend of March Madness, you likely won't be comped.

AND.... rates/offers are tied to ADT/THEO/Etc.... not to tier level, not to past offers.

If you play, you stay. No play, no stay.

Still have plenty of comps for us, even some dates at Caesars.
I have always said we could probably stay Sun-Thurs every week at one of the resorts--for the most part that remains true.
    And we are Gold...

I haven't noticed any change, in fact, I have more offers now than ever. Try adding your spouses TR number and see if it changes anything.

March is one of the busiest months in vegas as it is spring break, march madness, pools are opening, etc.

It's all ADT, I'm platinum due to reduced frequency of trips, but comped all the time at all Vegas including Caesars due to high ADT on very few days played

What I find that's nice about CET is that they comp your stay based on previous play. I think other places comp your stay based on your play during your current stay. Or maybe it's because I don't have previous play at other properties so they have to base comps on the current stay to play during the current stay.

Room comps at CET are not going away. No offense but very likely your play has dropped from their point of view.

CET is Caesar's entertainment properties for short, they are the group that has the Total Rewards card program that covers Caesar's, Planet Hollywood, Paris, The Cromwell, Bally's, Rio and others. When you play at any of their casino's they track your play with the card and based on the level of play, issue comps like discounted or free rooms, free play and other offers. How the comps get calculated are highly involved calculations, so, it can be a curiosity to the players as to what they will get, and how their play impacts the comps. Many of the board discussions revolve around comps as players find their offers going up and down over time.

Darn, so not very useful for first timers then? Sounded so amazing!

Also, not sure if I quoted you or not. I've never used this app before.

It is VERY useful for first timers, play a lot on one day and CET will flood your mailbox with offers to get you back.

How do I set that up? So, I basically just have to gamble a lot? How much is usually the rough estimate. I'm a college student, I'll be fortunate to go with $1,500. The last thing I want to do is gamble it all away, and idk if I would be returning soon. Lol, I'm seeing what some of you guys spend on here, and I just can't compete with that.

If you have played at a property, they can not guesstimate your future play and value to the casino. Then they offer something, usually starting with room comps.

If you have not played at their casino, they have no idea if you are going to play $50 or $500 or $5,000. So, they do not give you a free room and hope you will play.

    The logic all works.

to get free rooms at CET, you might get lucky with a few hundred in play. The exact number is unknown and moves around. If you go with $1,500 that you are willing to put at risk, you will get offers for future rooms. You MIGHT even get your current stay covered. And, the amount is not based on your loss, but how much you have played during the stay.

Just sign up for a players card and gamble what you gamble making sure you use the players card every time. Make sure you do this for other property groups (MGM, WYNN etc....) You will get bounce back offers in the mail/email. Some for free nights at lower tier properties and some for discounts.

Remember for slots/vp you get credit for coin in not initial bankroll, so if you put $20 in, then win $20 and run that through the machine you get credit for $40 not just the first $20.

I went to Vegas my first time with roughly the same amount of money for gaming and entertainment and I never paid for a room at a CET property. Though I was lucky enough to go during the recession when room occupancy was way down so that may be why.

Just don't gamble more than you are comfortable with to get future offers.

Welcome to the crack that is VMB!
