Does anyone know about these apartments. Considering a move to Vegas and would like to live close to Fremont Street. Any info about these apartments or any others close to Fremont Street would be greatly appreciated. Thx....

There's substantial info about those apartments online - including two Yelp reviews. The reviews I checked seemed all over the place. People either loved or hated City Center Apartments.

I'm pretty open minded about where to live, and am certainly not a snob about it. I also prefer downtown to the Strip for short getaways, normally staying at the Four Queens.

That said, downtown isn't a particularly good neighborhood to live in. You name a social problem, and downtown has it. That goes double for areas east of the casino district where those apartments are. I don't think you'll be happy there.

If you want to live close to resorts then look close to the Strip. I think you'll find the neighborhood in the couple of blocks north of the Palms & Gold Coast to be much better, and rents will be about the same.

One of my friends used to live there and complained about the noise level when it was windy. Supposedly, they keep a few rooms at Aria on reserve for residents who want to spend the night elsewhere.

I live in rancho del sol... cheap 750 for 2br with a fireplace and bar but neighbors can be noisy as they are sheet rock and plywood.
Very safe and close to everything... I work on the strip and its 10 min by car tops
