    My Trip Report

I have a trip planned for Halloween weekend in Vegas, and I will try to do a Live TR then.
But I wanted to share some trips I've already make this year.
(I'll also learn how to navigate and use the functions of the VMB site this way.)

Aria, 3/28-4/01/2014, March Madness weekend trip.

Location: Aria 2-bedroom Penthouse Sky Suite.

Group: College buddies and other friends from work, so a pretty large group of about 15 to 20 guys, all middle-aged 35 to 45 yo range.
I get together with this group about every 2 or 3 years.

All are rabid sports fans, so March Madness is a great time to get together. They all love to gamble and drink (know anyone else like that?)
    And....they love sushi!

So why not have a sushi party, Vegas style?

I posted the pictures in the After Dark section, due to the nature of the pictures....I think you will agree they belong there!

    Other meals:
Lemongrass:had the Lobster satay, outstanding (and I'm from Massachusetts, so I know lobster!)
Jean George: nice medium rare NY strip with Opus One 2009, the steak was outstanding with great texture and flavor.
I don't ever order Filet mignon because it is relatively flavorless compared to the Ribeye or NY strip.
Also, I like the "chewier" texture of the NY strip compared to the Filet.
Wicked Spoon: brunch buffet at Cosmo: my favorite buffet, especially with the bottomless champagne glass!
China Pablano: a quirky place but the food is tasty, and the Sea-foam Margaritas are awesome

    Gambling:
Lost 10K on this trip, mostly on craps and baccarat.
In baccarat, I like to play a modified Martingale negative progression, but hit some bad streaks early and got wiped out.
In craps, I use a variety of systems, but on this trip I used primarily a hedge system where I put 200 on the Don't Pass line, take full odds, then the Iron Cross (5,6,8 and the Field).
For example, if 9 is the point, then I have 200 DP and 1200 Odds. My "win" would be 1000, so I place 250 on 5, 300 on 6, 300 on 8, and 175 on the field.
This way, I win 175, on every roll that is NOT a 9. On a seven, I lose 25.
What kills this system is hitting the point right after setting it.
One advantage is that I have a lot of action out there, which is good for my theoretical.
Another is that I will win lots of money on long rolls, just like a Pass line player, as long as the point is not made right away.

No shows, but did watch a lot of basketball with the guys.

    A really fun trip.

Glad you like the pics, and I am sure you would have had a great time!
I set that party up myself, and it was fairly involved, because I had to worry about things like 'What if the girls don't show up?"
I also had to coordinate having the sushi brought in (no way I was paying Bar Masa prices, at $30 per piece!), to have the case of Dom brought in (again, why pay $1000 per bottle when retail is less than $200 or so?).
I also had to pre-order the plastic table clothes and other items.
But it was a blast...what I could remember of it!

    That's it? Nooooooo!
Come on, Man! Start at the beginning. But you'll probably need to put it in After Dark.

This a PG-13 site so the full unadulterated version wouldn't pass muster even in After Dark!
