Canning (I'm canning peach butter; husband is canning jalapenos). Husband decided to re-mud, sand & prime the bottom garage so he started that last night. Might smoke something - I need to clean the freezer, so depending on what I find there :ssst: Probably mow the yard. Pick tomatoes (I have a recipe for tomato jam I'd like to try if I have enough ripe tomatoes - can that if it turns out good!) Some reading on the patio with some good home brews. Maybe I'll brew (I have a kit beer my husband would like me to get out of the house since it's apparently "sullying" his grain:Þ) But if it's super hot & humid outside, might hamper my enjoyment some.....

In other words, no big plans, just a relaxing weekend. But in September, I have quite a bit of work travel so it will be nice to relax and do very little!

We are celebrating some medical news at home this weekend. And next week, once the kiddies are back in school, we're going to head over to Hood River for a few days of R&R (&beer).

Friday eve: The final downtown street fair of the season and a burger at Tom's A to Z with friends.
Saturday: Pedicures and then up to SLO for a party in the afternoon.
Sunday: Pack a lunch and head out to wine country, grill that eve with the neighbors.
Monday: Build another raised bed, play golf at La Purisima in the afternoon.

Fantastic film. I'd highly recommend both The Butler and The Grand Budapest Hotel as well.

Yeah Dallas Buyers Club is outstanding

I am not doing anything significant. The woman is out of town traveling so I will probably get up and hit the gym early and spend time by the pool if the weather cooperates. I need some sun and to plow through my Vegas books!

Today I start the day off with work and we will be golfing if the rain holds off. Have a nice dinner consisting of lobster citrus salad, ginger glazed mahi mahi and blackberry cobbler for dessert.

Sunday we have a golf game scheduled, which will most likely include a visit with our friends to the 19th hole.

This weekend I will mainly be dreaming of the next Sunday when we leave for Vegas

Going to the 142nd Annual Cannstatter Volksfest for German food, music, and of course, beer. Ein Prosit! If the weather holds out, a day trip to the shore, and a cook out on Monday.
