They just had a boatload of changes to the dining rewards and those that they changed now require an MLife hotel stay. If you purchased before the changes that have been going on, just make sure you print out the reward with its terms and conditions when you purchased it, it SHOULD be honored with those terms.

    Happy Playing :vomit:

They are definitely making it less attractive to spend time on this thing.

The ones without one night minimum are generally available, albeit at double LP cost (92k for 2x Mandalay Bay dinner with stay, or 184k without)

there are just a couple with the 2 x lp for non stay, and those are the MB ones that you have mentioned. They seemed to have done their handywork on Monte Carlo and NY NY today...with any of the "free" food rewards (no purchase required) they all require a stay.
This started what....3 weeks or a month ago when they removed the Aria nights as a reward, and that was followed by the Aria buffets requiring a stay, and I'm sure that by the time they are done they will all require a stay.

We're planning a trip for April and Lord only knows what the rewards will be/look like then. I guess we'll just keep playing and see what we end up with.

This stinks. I was going to claim a couple for my Oct trip, but I'm staying downtown. So much for that idea.

I have participated I these sort of things before and they eventually will weed out the lower tier players.

I used to do an online thing at a local radio station and you would log in every day for points. you could redeem the points for tickest and the like.

Of course they changed it to an all new exciting way of bidding on prizes so only the people with millions of points ever had a chance of winning the good prizes so i quit do it.

The same will happen here eventually.

they will just price us free riders out of the fun and it will be the people who are buying points that will be able to get the prizes.

I dont blame them, its their business and I have had fun with it and got some free stuff so it was fn while it lasted.

trust me, the big announcement about the "all new and exciting' thing is coming.

Are they requiring you stay at the same hotel as the prize is redeemed at, or is it just that you're staying at one of the Mlife properties? It would seem the wouldn't care where you're staying as long as it's Mlife.

It is any MGM property for most, but needs to be the same property for the free play rewards.

Not at the Monte Carlo for me this past weekend. I had the $50 FreePlay which in the T&C had a 3-night minimum stay, which I had booked. When I went to the MLife desk, they told me it was 4 nights and that it was just changed that day. And that they couldn't honor my reward even though it said 3 night minimum. The Monte Carlo MLife desk is a total disaster so I didn't feel like wasting any more time in line or arguing with someone who clearly doesn't care.

Game still says the requirement is 3 nights. Crazy that they would not honor that if your voucher says 3 nights and you are there for 3 nights. Sounds like the Monte Carlo is falling apart altoghter with removing all playable blackjack games and pulling this kind of crap. Too bad it was one of my favorite casinos.

The $50 food credit now also requires a one night stay. We have one that was purchased before the new T&C requirement. Will find out this weekend. Hope they treat us better than you.
If a person is already staying at a MGM hotel, then this if fine. But MGM will not get new people to walk into their Casinos.

You should have demanded to speak with a manager and insisted they honor it. The MyVegas rules specifically state that if you book a reward before the rules change, as long as you show proof of the reward you booked they will honor it. The way they treated you was unacceptable!!!!

jr7110; Where did you find this information about booking a reward before rules change. I could not find it.
I will need to print out a copy and take it with us. Need info ASAP.

I should have but I had already wasted 20 minutes of my life and this guy (Jamie) clearly didn't care. I showed him the reward repeatedly with the "3-night minimum" requirement". I decided to cut my losses and return to my vacation and not get too worked up about it.
