    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone here is playing the Social Media game myVEGAS on Facebook. It launched a couple of days and go and it's from MGM Int.

At this moment I am level 35 and only have 10k Loyalty points, if you have 32k points you can get a hotelnight for free in Excalibur etc etc. Well, I am grinding for hours and hours and hours and I see the higher you go up the level you have more difficulty getting Loyalty points.

I'm grinding for my next trip( hopefully in March) but if you do not want to pay for this game I think in general people have NO chance their way up trying to get some rewards in real life. They should change the rates of levels and loyalty points!

Also in their Terms and Conditions it says this game is only a BETA game and it could cancel the whole game when the BETA ends, but no one know when this period will end. If they will forfeit these points at some day I think MGM Inc will have many, many, MANY angry people

What do you think of this? Wondering what MGM is thinking because it could up really nasty in the end if they will cancel these points while people grinding for hours... i mean.... days... i mean MONTHS!!

    Here's the website: http://www.facebook.com/myVEGAS and http://www.myvegas.com/

Sorry, I'm still in shock that they actually used resources to develop a Facebook game when their web-site is down more than it's up - and it sounds like the systems within the casino aren't in much better shape.

Looked interesting at first, reminded of the program they had years ago where you got points for playing online and could redeem fro rewards. I saw a lot of shows and ate a lot of buffets off that program back then. But the problem with this one, is buying the chips. I'm sure you could easily buy whatever rewards you want for less $$$.

I love the game!! :thumbsup:I'm at level 25 with 4500 loyalty points. I'm playing for my 2013 trip. I wouldnt be totally pissed if they cancel it, because it is afterall free.

Having said that, I would never purchase chips. And they shouldn't even have that option to purchase chips especially since it's a beta game. Not fair in my opinion.

How do you get more chips without paying for them? (other than bothering all your friends).

I'm fortunate where I can have facebook open at my job so I keep collecting the chips when they're available like every 2, 4 hours. By the time I get a chance to play them later at night I have around 8000 or so.

    No, they don't post.

For example, with hotel Bellagio, you earn 1100 chips every four hours. So, say I collected my chips at 9am, I then go around 1 pm and collect another 1100 and by the time i get home I get another 1100.

I got about 10 spins on the slot machine before the app froze, so I'm guessing they got the same team that made the MLife website to design this as well. :Þ

Heh I've been grinding this thing since it came out, to the tune of lvl 43 and 15.5k loyalty points with all the available casinos built. Thank goodness for auto-spin; I'm sure this'll all turn out to be a colossal waste of time and energy. And yes, i was rather peeved they spent resources on this instead of getting their website anywhere near remotely functioning properly.

You do realize that they just paid a company wholly separate from the one who runs their website to develop the game, right?

Using both of their websites online (And yes, HATING MGM's) I was surprised that I like MyVegas much more than Caesars facebook game site. THAT one has jerky slot games, and something like 5 bars of the same music played OVER AND OVER AND OVER as you play the game! Yikes! (I swear that they stole MGM's original IT people to design it).

MGM's facebook slot games are pleasant to play....for fun though, as I do not see ever getting up to the level they require for usable rewards...LOL.

I also have been grinding along. When I first started they had a circus circus steakhouse dinner for 2 for around 35,000 and that was my goal. Now that I have 37,000 that reward is long gone and the only other steak dinners are 75,000 points. They also had buffets but they are gone as a prize too.

I too suspect this will be a waste of time, but am giving it a shot.
