Default Balcony with a view of the strip

I am having the hardest time finding something on the strip with a balcony. I donít know if they think I am going to jump from losing all of my money or what, but would love to sit outside, have a drink, and look down at the strip. Who has such a room.

I will be going in Feb or March so Cosmo will be open. It looks nice, but a little pricy. MGM Signature was already on my short list but I see not all rooms have a balcony... I guess I will go with the $20 trick if I stay at the MGM. Thanks and keep em coming.

The Platinum has balconies too but off strip a bit. Behind Ballys. I love both the Signature and Platinum.

The Flamingo has rooms with a great view, too bad there's no balcony though.

Finding rooms with a balcony is a bitch, especially if you aren't willing to pay several hundred a night.

Cheapest option is IP. All of their rooms have balconies. Strip view also allows you to partake of the loud music from Carnaval Court. Personally I'm not bothered by that, but you may be.

MGM has the terrace suites which have giant balconies, most with a hot tub on them. These are quite spendy and must be booked well in advance. They all have some Strip view: south side-NYNY, Excal, Luxor, Mandalay and Trop. north side: everything else.

NYNY has at least one suite with a balcony, but it appears to be made of unobtainium for us normal folk.

Here's an unexpected option on the higer dollar suite side: Rivera.

Allegedly, Sahara has at least one suite with a balcony.

The Villas at Wynn have balconies, but are astronomically expensive and hard to book.

The Cosmo is going to be your best option. Its cheaper than everything else I've mentioned so far except the IP.

Oh, I almost forgot the garden rooms at the Trop (if they're still around-I'm out of the loop) and they were quite cheap. I wouldn't put them in the view category exactly, but you can see MGM. NYNY and Excal.

Signature & Platinum are good options as well, but aren't actually on the stip IMO.

When I stay at IP, I request a room in "Tower 5" over-looking the Carnival Court on a high floor. When out on the balcony, you can see the strip (in-between IP and Harrahs), the new strip entrance to Ceasars Forum Shops, Mirage, Bellagio, and some of the Ceasars towers. In the distance is Rio, Palms, and even Mt. Charleston.

As others have said you have to like/enjoy/put up with the music from Carnival Court until about 3 am every night. I actually like it and fall asleep listening to the music.....

One more thing, because the IP sign is also attached to this tower, some of the higher-up rooms in Tower 5 have obstructed views because of the sign.
Enjoy!

If you have any desire for south strip you might consider Polo Towers. Located just north of MGM and behind Haiwain Village. While not a casino hotel, I believe all rooms have a balcony.
