Ok it is high time to respect the board and move the old July trip report into the bowels of history, and no I dont mean the IP parking garage!

With a Tee Minus count under 30 days perhaps it is appropriate a new thread commence dedicated to the triumverate of degenerates slated for a rapidly approaching epic Vegas weekend.

Please grab a drink, make yourself comfortable, and join our WOLFPACK as we race thru the desert in search of strippers and cocaine, or the exquisitely chilled 10 oz. diet coke hidden in the Aria Sky Suites lounge, as the case may be.

Macker came through with his official confirmation last night, although aparently we will not be needing the purse stool for him at Alex as he's not arriving until later that night.

Yes I received an inquiry from Macker's actuary yesterday and when I received his text with the flight time later in the evening I realized even with the standard 8% maximum tip allowed to be paid by residents of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada under provincial law, it had still been determined cheaper for him to pay for the xtra flight change in order to miss the $295 meal at Alex @ Wynn with us.

I had hoped my assurances of free Mercedes limo transportation from Mandarin Oriental would tip the scales in our favor, but alas, the adoption of the dollar menu in the Great Falls McDonalds doomed us from the start.

Either that or the cost of a new purse to match his outfit.

Yay, Lethbridge :evillaugh

So where are the designated places to gambool at on this particular trip?

Alexanbo can correct me on. this but I believe the only plans are Bacarrat at Wynn high-limit after dinner at Alex on Thursda, Pai Gow at Aria after dinner at Sage and most likely a sky suites drink and hopefully a lucrative virgin craps roll to fatten up our bankrolls.

I think some VP at Casino Royale is in there and whatever else comes up.

I am staying on a rack rate special at Mandarin Oriental as is Alexanbo so weve got no real pressure to play anywhere but where the strong and unpredictable winds of our drunkenness blow us....assuming we dont get too drunk and serve a BONE-in-RIB-EYE to a shower full of hookers. Macker your an optomotrist, right?

Ahh....this is better! Nothing like a crisp, fresh, new thread for the next trip! My 27 year old niece and five of her friends are going to be there for their Vegas Virgin trip that weekend. What suite should I send them to?:wink2:

I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for the swath of Tasmanian Devil like destruction that weekend.

If they are Vegas virgins we want em at the craps table not in the suite. Ill PM you the info.:evillaugh

I wish I could have made it, but it was $200 to fly in like 5 hours earlier and it wasn't a direct flight. I guess the good thing is that you guys will be just getting going when I get there and I will have to do numerous Jager Bombs to catch up lol. I will also add that you can follow me live during the trip at www.twitter.com/vegasmacker

you can do anything if you set your mind to it! lol

I hope your friends or sister are aware that often the chaperones become the chaperoned in the sky suites lounge:beer:

that story is shakier than a workplace romance at Red Lobster

My non-gambling husband seems to think the fact that my kids start school that Monday is a reason I should be around. Sheesh....

Should I actually go ahead and book A ressie at Sage then? I was kind of keeping that flexible and there's a bar area that if worse came to worse we can sit at.

As far gambling plan, it's probably kind of futile to plan too much. I would like to check out bacarat somewhere, after reading bucket's Trip report it maybe Ceasar's because they have a big table. Of course this is all dependent on my bankroll surviving until you guys get there.

I think go ahead and do the reservation at Sage.

as for gambling planning, indeed it IS futile. I've been planning to switch to quarter jacks-or-better for about 2 years.

i am in for whatever, and I suppose I should be conservative with the bankroll, which means no $500 roulette spins. i'm up for all the $25-$50 Pai Gow and Bacarrat we can play, although I suppose I'd better bring a half a brick with me in case its $100 min in these high limit lounges.

As for the Sage reservation, 7 might be good, I think we may have to be somewhere around 9-9:30 on Friday if we want to fill our wallets at the craps tables!

funny that is why my wife said no, its about time for her to cave for another vegas trip and I thought she would love the M.O. but she invoked the school starting.

Since when did school start in August? actually since when did school start before the week before exams in December?

when I was in school classes were only held when conditions were just right. The golf course had to be closed, the liquor store had to be empty, and there had to be a hot blond in the class.
