Default New to Lobster not Vegas

Going to Vegas in May with a couple that has been to Vegas many times along with us. We are staying at MGM (womens choice, not mine, I prefer IP, Excalibur, cheap stuff, people on this board understand). Anyway, going to Vegas to party mostly but going to have one nice dinner and the ladie with the other couple wants to order lobster, she has never had it.

My wife and I have eaten at a lot of different nice/fancy places in Vegas and other cities. So just wondering where a great place to order lobster is, fancy yes but not crazy expensive. Around 50 to 100 a plate.

I know Emerils is in our hotel and we are thinking about that but other suggestions would be great. The thing is the husband of the losbster ladie is not a seafood person, my wife and i love seafood so no problems, so we would love to know a place where we can order great seafood (lobster) and a good steak for the husband.

Any imput will help, Thanks a million, love all the info on this site!!!!!

Default lobster

Sf, I see that your trip is not till May. Might be a good idea for your friend to try a lobster tail at a local restaurant before going to Vegas. Don't wanna waste good $$ and lobster...

I would think that any decent steakhouse in town can cover the hubby wants steak wifey wants lobster situation.

I went to Vegas with a couple that did this exact same thing at Gallagher's in NYNY and were very satisfied. I would also imagine that Craftsteak in MGM would be acceptable. Depending on what sides/drinks you want you could exceed your budget.

A less expensive option that gets good reviews is the Steakhouse at Circus Circus. Make sure to either include the meal on a North Strip excursion or add approx $20+$20 for round trip cabfare. Happy noshing!
